An absolutely lovely holiday. The property was in an ideal place immaculate and well looked after. The cleaning service was outstanding and the owners were absolutely brilliant in every way. We accidentally locked ourselves out of the property on one particular occasion. Wee contacted the owners Effi and Manolis and they were out within 5 minutes to sort things out. Couldn't fault it and we will definitely be going back to Villa Mary again. Nothing to improve as far as we are concerned.

Fantastic villa in a great location. We loved our time here and would definitely visit again. Spacious, well equipped villa with strong air con! The pool and gardens were absolutely beautiful and so private. The owner made us feel so welcome and even provided delicious food as a surprise

The villa was such a brilliant find! We were blown away by how lovely it was. The house was airy and spacious. Well stocked kitchen and thoughtful provision of some groceries for us on arrival- thank you. The garden was beautiful and well maintained. The villa was only a short walk into Gerani village; the local cafe and restaurants were friendly and served delicious food. We also found we could walk to the small beach at Gerani for a dip and to use the seaside restaurant.

This was the best Villa that we have stayed in & we absolutely loved it. It was immaculate when we arrived & the added extras left by the owner were very much appreciated. We made the most of the pool which was so clean & we couldnt fault anything. We would definitely highly recommend Villa Mary & we were sad to leave.

Very beautiful villa.

The villa is very comfortable. However it is a bit secluded, and not easy to access (steep road). The information available on the leisure exits and restaurants in the area is appreciable. The owners are considerate and offer gifts (cakes, flowers...). We visited several sites during our stay . The best souvenir is the beach of Praveli and access to the gorges just at the end of the beach. The west wind spoiled our day in Balos and did not allow us to hike in the Samaria gorge (boat cancelled).

La villa tait tout fait conforme la description et aux photos. Elle tait trs propre notre arrive avec aussi un gteau de bienvenue fait maison qui tait dlicieux. Il y avait du pain, du pain de mie, des dosettes de caf. Dans le frigo, il y avait aussi de leau, du soda, un peu de beurre. Le jardin est trs joli et trs bien entretenu. La piscine est magnifique : eau chaude et surtout taille idale (8m x 3m50 environ et 1m40 de profondeur partout) La grande terrasse couverte avec la pergola permet de prendre tous les repas dehors. Lenvironnement est plutt calme sauf les blements des chvres et le chant des coqs mais cest un petit village de campagne. En 15 minutes on est Rethymnon et la villa est galement bien place pour visiter les alentours. Bref, une super adresse!

Parfait

Tout était parfait : l'accueil avec plein de délicates attentions et notamment de quoi faire un petit déjeuner (vraiment pratique quand l'arrivée est tardive), la gentillesse des hôtes, la maison et le jardin, plus qu'agréables et une maison très propre. Je recommande vivement.

A great holiday in a fabulous villa!

The villa is exactly as described and showed in the photos. Very beautiful, cosy, well-equipped and clean. The same applies to the pool and the garden. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, and they did everything they could to make our stay a fairytale! We are very grateful to them for this! We really hope to be back there soon!

Beautiful villa that had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean and clearly they had taken extra care during these difficult times. All remote controls were in sealed bags and gloves and hand sanitiser was in each room. The pool is great and actually quite warm. The beds very comfortable and the air conditioning very welcome The service provided whilst we were there was excellent. A great place to stay, the locals in the village are very friendly and the local taverns excellent value for money but be aware the portions are huge! Maxine

Sunny relaxing holiday Lovely stay at Villa Mary. Pool and terrace area so nice. Bedrooms spacious, whole area very clean. Owners very nice and responsive. But of a hairy drive through the village but you get used to it. Highly recommend Staras restaurant - 10 mins walk away in the village. Beautiful atmosphere and amazing food. You can walk to the village but you need a car to go to beach and to explore Crete. Great holiday. Anna

The villa was excellent as was the service. The staff were efficient, kind and helpful. We did find the mattresses hard and uncomfortable which made sleeping difficult. Another problem was that there is a dog which resides in a property below which barks loudly and frequently for a long time, very often at night. There are other dogs which we could cope with but this one is bad. We also thought that some instructions on using the electrical appliances could be useful. This is only a suggestion and in fact we managed alright. Well done Agnitravel. Regards John Bramley

We have just had the best 2 week holiday ever! The villa is well furnished and spotlessly clean, as is the pool and beautiful garden. The service the owners gave is faultless, they are very welcoming and on hand if needed, and come twice a week to clean. The villa is well situated to be able to explore the Island and see some of the beautiful areas of Crete. We came home well rested and with fantastic memories. I would highly recommend this villa!
