Dear Amanda, I am very sorry for your experience. You were the first guests to complain about the distance from the beach. Previous guests have never mentioned this issue or complained about it. What happened is that the address in the description was correct, but VRBO automatically placed a marker on the map in an incorrect location. I have no idea when this happened, but I am sorry, and I have just informed VRBO, who will correct the map. It is true, the villa is not new; we continuously strive to fix everything we can and always inform all clients and also you from the beginning that if they need anything specific, they should feel free to let me know. You came during a week when there was an exceptional heatwave with temperatures up to 38ºC. Across the island, the temperature increase caused what usually happens: the proliferation of insects such as cockroaches. The house is pest-controlled, but it happens that if the windows and terrace doors are left open, pests can enter through them. The rise in temperature also creates the need to monitor the pools more closely, which is exactly what I did, and the pool water has always been in optimal condition thanks to my supervision. The pool is covered with a plastic material known as liner. The black line you are referring to, I think, is the decorative line that is glued to the upper edge, and it is true that in some parts it may have detached, but this does not compromise the pool's safety. In conclusion, I understand the issue with the location and I am sorry about it. I hope that in some way you were able to have a part-decent holiday because when I came, your children told me to be happy and seemed all happy while playing billiards and ping pong and you did not mention anything to me about all that problems...
