The home is located close to many shops and restaurants. The ease of getting to the water taxi made this a perfect location for travelers with luggage, there were no bridges or steps to carry luggage over. The hostess was incredibly helpful and even met us at the water taxi to bring us to the home and show us how everything worked.

Great stay in Venezia!

We really enjoyed our stay in Venice! The apartment was in a great location. Easy to walk to St. Mark’s Square and several different water bus stations. Elena met us at the vaporetto stop and walked us to the apartment. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place for our stay

Plenty of room. Nice outdoor space. Close to everything we wanted to do. The contact person at the property was lovely. Very helpful, she greeted us at the water bus on our arrival!

wonderful Venice

I spent 5 wonderful days in Venice with my family in October. The flat is very clean, comfortable, spatious and very well positioned, close to the city centre. The owner was kind and friendly, I would certainly love to repeat this holiday.

Perfect location.

Lovely apartment for our family of four. Castello is a great neighborhood with everything you need a few steps distance yet quiet and away from the crowds. Elena was super helpful and communicative.

beautiful appartment - highly recommended!

this is a very nice appartment in a beautiful and quiet area of Venice, but nevertheless close to the center, easily to reach by foot. Elena, the manager of the appartment, is very friendly and has useful suggestions on things to see one usually doesn't read about in a guidebook. THANK YOU ELENA!

Perfect for us!

Host met us a at vaporetto which was very helpful. Very clean and well equipped apt. Great location close to tourist activities but not super crowded feeling neighborhood. Very well equipped kitchen. 3 out of 4 av worked well which is actually great compared to other apt we stayed at. Overall I highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful place to stay

Elana could not have been more helpful and kind and her home is wonderful. She collected my sister from the meeting point and brought her to the apartment making our arrival easy. She gave us all the information we needed and help with locations of supermarkets and places to see. The apartment is spacious and in a quite place but very close to everything. The apartment is well equipped and the beds comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying here and hope to come again

Fabulous quite flat in easy reach of St Marks Square

The flat was well kept and in good condition. The kitchen was well supplies so there was nothing we wished for. With a lovely supermarket round the corner it was easy to mix self catering and eating out. The flat was a 10 minute walk from St Marks but off the beaten track so a lovely haven away from the bustle.

Nice apartment, great host

The apartment was just as listed. It was comfortable and very clean, the kitchen had everything that we needed (microwave, coffee maker, toaster). Elena was an incredible host. She contacted me before the trip to make sure we could meet when we got to Venice, which is very helpful since you can easily lost there. She met us at the water taxi stop to walk us to the apartment and show us the property. She had a map for us and explained different ways to move around Venice. We had a problem with the washing machine and she found someone quickly to solve the problem. She was flexible with our check out time which was great because we didn't have to rush out of the apartment. I would totally recommend this place since the location is great, the apartment is spacious, and Elena is the best host we ever had.

Wonderful property

We stayed for 4 nights in Venice, and the property was pretty close to all major attractions. We liked the small terrace outside where we used to drink the morning coffee. The apartment was nicely decorated, all the 3 rooms were enough for our family of 5. The kitchen was fully equipped just no conventional oven, but we used the mini one once. We had some issues with the wi-fi which kept disconnecting very often, hopefully that gets fixed.

Lovely comfy apartment in a very quiet area.

The apartment was perfect for myself, husband and adult daughter and son. 3 comfortable bedrooms and two great bathrooms. The kitchen was a little tight but had plenty of pots and pans etc. for self catering. The little balcony was an added bonus. The nearest large supermarket is over the bridge at the end of the street and then turn right, a 5 minute walk. Simonetta was very kind and explained how everything worked as well as recommending restaurants. Thanks Elena, we will return !

Greatest Host

The apartment was great, really well located, fully equipped, nice decor. But what really made the difference was the Host, Elena was WONDERFUL, she went to pick us up where our water taxi dropped us of on the main Canal to walk us all the way to the property. She speaks multiple languages and made it easy to communicate for our whole group. Then she provided us some great recommendations for things to see, off the beaten path as well as places to eat. She even helped us arrange our transport back through her connections. Really a GEM

Excellent apartement

We - my wife and I, our son and his family incl. 2 kids aged 7 and 10 - enjoyed our stay in this excellent apartment. It is well equipped incl. dish washer, washing machine and dryer and a spacious living room. There are good quality super market and several good to excellent restaurants a few minutes walk away. San Marco is just over 10 min away. The friendly land lady had briefed us upfront and met us at the Arsenal station to take us to the apartment. In summary: a great place to stay.

Great Location and Elaina was very helpful

We had a few problems when we arrived...a/c stopped working and no hot water. Elaina had the problems resolved very quickly. We loved the location! We had plenty of room as well. There were 6 of us. There is a DVD player but it doesn't play United States DVDs. Stove requires lighter. A few things different from the states. We enjoyed our stay!

We dislike having to give a mixed review as our host Elena was fantastic. She was great at communicating with us in advance, such as providing the best way to get from the train station to the apartment and meeting us at the water bus stop to walk us to the apartment. She showed us how everything worked in the apartment and gave us great restaurant recommendations. One of the bedrooms was very comfortable for two adults, but the other was not. In the second, the fold out bed was against the wall-awkward for one person. The other side had a rim above the mattress level that made it uncomfortable to get in and out on that side. The bath in that room had two high steps very close to the bed that made it a fall hazard for those getting up in the middle of the night. This room is much better suited to a twin bed. Mosquito alert. Don't open the windows at night. They don’t have screens and the mosquitoes are numerous. We were also disappointed that the advertised dryer didn't work. It factored into our booking decision, but didn’t seem to be a recent problem. The location was great, the host was great, the amount of space was great and kitchen was well equipped, but we wouldn't recommend for two couples since one of the couples will be uncomfortable.

Fabulous Castello apartment

With gracious hosts, a splendid location, super amenities, and the magic of Venice, our family of three had all the right ingredients for a wonderful stay. Paolo and Elena made every effort to help us get oriented correctly, giving detailed information from the airport and train, and meeting us to escort us in person into the neighborhood and the apartment. They couldn’t have been more gracious and helpful, sharing their favorite local restaurants and staying in touch throughout our stay with help and advice. The apartment was blissfully cool during our July stay, with great air conditioning and WiFi, not to mention a washer and dryer, and a dishwasher to boot. We ate in (my daughter made risotto) and enjoyed the cozy table and outdoor terrace. The location is so personal and typical of a real Venetian neighborhood! What this means is you can expect to get a little lost, you won’t see hordes of tourists, and the pace of life is a luxurious embrace of time and space. Go with it, you won’t regret it! Easily accessible on both sides of Venice at the Ospedale or Arsenale stops, it’s easy to pull a ticket and plan an escape to Burano or Lido or simply up the Grand Canel. We were an 8 minute walk to Piazzo San Marco’s beauty, 5 minutes to a grocery store, and surrounded by a veritable feast of places to eat. Highly recommended for location, extremely helpful hosts, well equipped apartment, and the charm of an authentic Venetian neighborhood.

Très bon accueil. Au calme ou presque car dans la location au dessus ils étaient particulièrement nombreux. Bruit de pas et de meubles déplacés tard dans la nuit et tôt le matin durant 2 jours. Appart très sympa même si la cuisine est un peu petite. Emplacement parfait dans un quartier très agréable. Commerces, restos à proximité.Terrasse extérieure sympa qui donne sur arbres et grand jardin.
