Within the village, you will find a local store, pub (pub under refurbishment until March 2022),), fish and chip shop, a Post Office and an excellent 18 hole golf course, whilst nearby Porthmadog boasts a larger selection of shops and restaurants, whilst being home to the Ffestiniog Railway and Welsh Highland Railway. Tremadog is also close by, as is the village of Borth-y-Gest, with its cliffs and coves.
