Beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bath villa with private pool and sea views

The villa is a real home away from home. In the urbanisation of Los Claveles which is under a 10 minute walk into town, where there are many bars, restaurants and shops as well as the beach which means a car is not necessary. There is also a pub, Indian restaurant and a bar all within a 2 minute walk. We are also very close to Olivias (the famous restaurant from TOWIE) which is a popular place to visit with live music and dancing, this is less than 10 minutes walk away.

Our villa has beautiful gardens with plenty of space to sunbathe and a pool to swim in. You can relax in the many outdoor seating areas. It has a lovely cool covered terrace with a dining table. There is a wonderful rooftop terrace with seating area, sunbeds and an amazing sea view. You will also find a pool table and darts board to keep you entertained during your stay.

The villa sleeps 6 and has a master bedroom (super king bed) with en-suite. The second bedroom has a king size bed with direct access to the terrace and pool. The third bedroom is a twin which also has direct access to the terrace. We have provided a travel cot, highchair and steriliser for those travelling with young babies. There is a large guest bathroom with shower. In the large fully equipped kitchen and utility room you will find a washing machine, dish washer and every appliance you will need including iron, coffee maker, microwave etc. The lounge has a 60 inch TV with English channels (and other European channels) and Sky Sports. We have provided some board games for you to enjoy. There is complimentary wi-fi.

All rooms are air conditioned and fully furnished. Towels (including beach towels) are provided. There are hairdryers in each bedroom.

The villa is in a quiet yet central location and has easy access to bus stops 2 minutes walk away.

It is suitable for families and couples as well as for golfing groups. There are numerous top-class golf courses nearby. You can hire clubs from Sunshine Golf, and they will help you to book tee off times.

The quaint fishing village of La Cala is less than a 10 minute walk away. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, supermarkets and shops here. The beach is beautiful and safe and stretches for miles, You can walk along the boardwalk where you will find lots of Chiringuitos (beach bars) to stop and have a drink.

Notice: The property is protected by an alarm system and two surveillance cameras. The surveillance cameras are positioned at the front of the property and cover the front property access and front garden access. Garden/pool areas are not monitored.

***The rooftop terrace has a steep spiral staircase and traditional concrete balustrades (see photos), making this area not suitable for children under 14 years old***

Wonderful place, very convenient for a family and it has everything you need from kitchen set and washing machine to games and audiovisual entertainment. Communication was very efficient and quick with the landlords and they always responded with a solution. Only thing to keep in mind is that it may be better to have a car if you want to explore the large surroundings - though they seem to be bus stops nearby too. We definitely look forward to repeating the experience!

tolle Kommunikation, leider ist das Haus etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was für den Preis nicht sein dürfte - am Pool lösen sich kleine Mosaikfliesen, Armaturen im Bad müssten neu - es sind Kleinigkeiten - aber bei dem Preis muss einfach alles topp seinAnsonsten haben wir einen schönen Urlaub gehabt. Alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Besonders gefallen haben uns die vielen möglichen Aktivitäten im Haus - Pool (mit Spielsachen), Billard, Dart, viele Gesellschaftsspiele

We've just returned from a week in this beautiful villa in la cala and would thoroughly recommend it. It is spacious, well equipped and in a fantastic location which is quiet and tranquil and only 5 minutes walk to the beach! The garden and pool made our stay a very memorable one with breakfasts, lunch and bbq on the patio! We hope to return again next year. The hosts were also very communicative and the villa info, recommendations of the area and facilities etc was excellent! Thankyou so much again!

Lovely villa, very spacious. Great outdoor area and pool. Really close to the town centre yet very quiet all day and night. The owners were fantastic and very responsive with information when required. We travelled with our new granddaughter and her mum and dad, they had a great time and it was easy to get around. We hired a car but its not essential as the supermarket is just a 15 minute stroll. Bars and cafes similar.

Unfortunately disappointed with our stay. Villa is certainly getting tired and a lot of the photos are misleading, certainly of the outside area. Sunbeds and seating areas are not as shown on the listing, look to have been replaced with cheaper replacements. Photos more than likely from when the original listing was published some years ago. When we gained access to the villa, it was pretty filthy. Swimming Pool needs a deep clean and maintenance. Plug Sockets coming away from the wall and dirty surfaces all over. I would say this probably isn’t the villa owners fault and more the people they employ to maintain and look after it. Bottled Sauce had been left in the fridge after it had been ‘cleaned’, went out of date 3 months prior to our arrival. Luxury villa I’m afraid it is not.That being said it’s in a good location for Mijas town and restaurants and the pool, darts and outdoor tv are ideal for entertaining. Have sent all comments to the owner so none of this will come as a surprise!

This is a beautiful villa with everything you could wish for. The hosts have thought of everything to make this a great experience and there is a stunning view of the sea from the terrace area. Communications were excellent and the hosts are really responsive and helpful. We would highly recommend this villa and would love to come back when we can.

Absolutely gorgeous villa we had the best time the pool was fabulous the pool table we had so much fun with 2 women against 2 men never gonna end well the villa itself was clean and tidy just a stunning location we didnt want to leave from booking it with lorraine and paul they were exceptional the communication was a 100% they even advised us on what taxi firm to book with to and from the airport and even they didnt dissapoint seriously if your thinking of booking this villa do it you will have the best time and not to forget christine the cleaner what a lovely bubbly lady she is we turned up mid way through her clean to drop our cases off and she also told us how to get to town n stuff when we got the phonecall from her to say it was ready it smelt amazing when we walked in really clean guys just book it you will be so happy you did

We have just come back from a lovely holiday . The villa was perfect . The pool table and darts kept the boys occupied . We all loved the pool including the baby , we even managed to set up a volley ball game in the pool. It was in walking distance to restaurants and supermarket , even though a few hills but manageable . It had everything we needed . Would definitely recommend

Home from home

We stayed in this beautiful villa as a family group who wanted a very laid back relaxing holiday. The villa fitted the bill perfectly and provided everything we could ever need. We enjoyed the outdoor area so much that we were happy to spend most of our time there. When we did decide to go into town, this was a short wander away. The communication with the owners and local agent was excellent and they were happy to accommodate us to fit in with our flight times.Would love to come back sometime.

We have just returned from a wonderful relaxing stay at Paul & Lorraines beautful Villa in La Cala, Mijas. Walking through the front door to the site of a beautiful xmas tree and lights and a fully prepared table ready for xmas day was delightful. From start to finish Lorraine and Paul were so helpful and explained everything and gave fantastic recommendations regarding where to eat, bars, shopping etc. The villa was amazing and we actually spent most of our time there because it was so homely and relaxing. We did venture into La Cala on several occasions though and within less than 10 mins you were there with a choice of bars and restaurants. Our favourite was The Royal Thai Orchid next to the Blarney the food was fantastic and the service was great. I can only say you will definitely not be disappointed to anybody who comes to this beautiful villa Thank you so much Paul and lorraine for giving us a memorable xmas 2024 xx Ian & Family

Overall nice stay

Overall Lovely stay, we were looking for a house close to restaurants and town and it was excellent. Though the house was a little bit worn out, and missed lot’s of things for example a dryer and extra towels and I am not fond of plastic glass but the Loraine the host was very nice and send out new towels but overall a nice stay and fantastic host.

October half term holiday

This really is a stunning Villa and its location is excellent. We’ve stayed in Mijas several times before but this property was new to us and we definitely plan to return. The hosts couldn’t have done more to ensure everything went smoothly before and during the holiday. The Villa has absolutely everything you could need and much more! Because we were arriving late, the hosts also left us provisions for arrival and the first day. So so kind and thoughtful. And information on local restaurants and walking/driving routes into town were very helpful. You can literally walk to the beach in about 5 minutes which makes it such an amazing location. Thanks so much for a lovely week, despite the rain and storms that so tragically struck Spain at the beginning of last week.

Relaxing family holiday

Fabulous villa

Wonderful stay at the villa. Lots of mod cons to make everything more comfortable (coffee machine, tv outside to catch the football, darts/pool table/putting, ice maker etc), the kids loved it. But you couldn't beat the amazing pool, the view from the roof terrace, and that you could be at the nearest beach bar within 10 mins walk. Thank you Lorraine for having us, and all the useful communication.

Magnifique séjour !

Nous avons passé de très belles vacances en famille à la Casa Del Drapes. La maison et les extérieurs correspondent tout à fait aux photos. Bien équipées. La piscine est régulièrement entretenue. L’emplacement est parfait autant pour partir en voiture visiter l’Andalousie que pour aller à pieds au centre du Cala de Mijas. Supermarché et restaurants à 5 minutes à pieds. L’endroit est très calme malgré l’autoroute très proche. Nous recommandons cette propriété.

Beautiful property set in a great location. The beach, shops, bars & restaurants are in easy walking distance. The pool & outdoor space at the villa are great. We had a lovely relaxing holiday. Would highly recommend.

La Cala Heaven

Absolute joy to stay here at this Villa. It has so much too offer you once you arrive , from the lovely swimming pool to the roof terrace with Sea views , bbq, Pool table , darts , a lovely lower terrace and outdoor bar area with big screen TV . So clean tidy & spacious inside with a nice big kitchen too. The Area of where the Villa is situated is just perfect, so close to the beach and all of What La Cala offers and at the same time the Villa itself is so nice and quiet with a lovely bit of privacy which is just what we wanted. The Owner's are just brilliant any issues or anything you would like to speak to them about prior to your arrival or once there , is no problem at all. 100% Me and Wife will be coming back to here again.

Cass Del Drapes Holiday

My family and I had a terrific holiday at Casa Del Drapes. The villa has everything required for a family holiday and the hosts John and Lorraine were so helpful during the whole process and even ordered a bed guard for my three year old grandson. All five of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Del Drapes and will certainly be returning for another stay.

4 nights in La Cala

The villa is a real home from home with everything you need for your stay. We were met by Janette who showed us around the villa and explained things like the alarm etc. Contact with the hosts beforehand was excellent with plenty of information about the area and recommendations for restaurants provided. They really have put a lot of thought into this which we really appreciated. There is a pub and an indian restaurant close to the villa. Very handy. You can walk into La Cala from the villa and it's easy to get a cab back if you have shopping. Villa has a lovely large outside area - which is where we spent most of our time. All in all a great stay. We would definitely come again. Many thanks Lorraine and Paul.

Chill out before main event

I gave 5 stars for everything but description. It was so much more. Perfect for us. Location was great and we walked regularly into la Cala. Any issues the host was on it and replied within minutes and could not do more to meet our needs. Great for our family

Very nice Villa !

This Villa Drapes is located perfect with easy walk to the beach and center. Lots of nice restaurants and bars are close by. Our stay was ”off season” so very quiet and calm, just as we wanted. The Villa was spacious and very nice planned. Unfortunately the pool was to cold to use now in november. The hosts (Lorraine/Paul/Abi) were very helpful, as we arrived a little earlier … and stayed a little longer due to our flights. Very much appreciated ! Highly recommended 👌
