Highly rated one-bedroom Gatlinburg cabin that sits atop Ski Mountain next to Ober Gatlinburg. One of two cabins at Ski Mountain. Book the neighboring cabin for a large family or friends getaway (each is private and about 100 yds apart).

This one bedroom cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway or a small family vacation. The master bedroom includes a Jacuzzi tub, king-size bed, large TV with cable, and internet. There is a full bath with shower and half bath available.

The fully stocked kitchen includes granite countertops and standard appliances. The family room includes a leather sofa bed and chair facing a beautiful stone wood burning fireplace with a large TV. A sofa bed can accommodate additional guests. A washer and dryer are also provided for your convenience.

Relax on the back deck for bear watching, the lights of Gatlinburg, and the visits of birds, squirrels, and other animals. A hot tub is provided on the back deck for a relaxing night.

The cabin is located on top of Chalet Village on Ski Mountain through steep and windy roads you will find yourself perched on top of a beautiful view. An AWD or 4x4 vehicle will be highly suggested in the colder months as snow can be frequent during these times.It features mountain views and a private setting but is only 3.7 miles from downtown Gatlinburg. The location also features easy access to Pigeon Forge for trips to Dollywood and dinner shows.

Access to the seasonal clubhouse of Chalet Village features multiple swimming pools, tennis courts, shuffleboard, a full workout room, a game room, and much more.

Your pets are welcome to our cabin for an extra $75 fee. Please add this to your reservation to avoid withdrawal from your deposit after you check out.

The cabin is located on top of Chalet Village on Ski Mountain. It features mountain views and a private setting and is only 3.7 miles from Gatlinburg. The location also features easy access to Pigeon Forge for trips to Dollywood and dinner shows.

M A R A V I LL O S O !!

Es un rincón cerca del cielo! Quedamos impresionados al llegar y mirar que supero nuestras expectativas, un lugar limpio, acogedor que nos hizo sentir en nuestra propia casa. La cabaña cuenta con todo lo indispensable para estar cómodo , lo que prometen en el anuncio es poco comparado con la realidad. La vista espectacular desde el balcón , el amanecer y atardecer , el silencio de la montaña es lo que fuimos a buscar y lo encontramos en Heaven’s gate #2. Tuvimos la oportunidad de mirar 7 osos en general a la puerta de la cabaña y bajo el balcón ; por un descuido mío no cerré el vidrio del carro y un oso se paseo dentro, dejo huellas tierra y pasto y lo mas increíble es que yo deje un trozo de beef jerky y no lo toco , tampoco movió NADA, solo dejo unos rasguños en la pintura de la puerta del carro. Al llegar fue gran impresión por las curvas y pendientes , pero la belleza del paisaje increíble, ademas el pueblo de Gatlinburg esta abajo a solo 10 min. Over Gatlinburg esta a solo 8 min. Bajo la cabaña, en general todos los lugares son cercanos y bellos. La recomendamos ampliamente!

Beautiful mountain cabin

This beautiful cabin is perched on the side of a steep mountainside near Gatlinburg. The cabin is beautiful, well-appointed, and all the amenities you could ask for, including a spa in the bedroom and a hot tub overlooking the valley. Be aware that the roads leading to the cabin and the driveway itself are very steep

Excellent Stay

This place is perfect for a small family. Nice views and very clean. We were able to see some snow on our trip. Steep driveway as mentioned but no issues here. Would stay again!

Wonderful place for a mini vacation

The cabin was amazing and the view was breathtaking but the road to the cabin was horrible and scary. You have to have a four wheel drive vehicle for the climb up the mountain. After the drive up and down, the cabin was everything i had hoped for.

Mountain Cabin

The cabin is just the perfect size for a couple. The cabin is older and is need of a few minor upkeep and cosmetic items. It was very clean and well furnished. The drive up the mountain can be a little unnerving if you don't like steep roads, including a very steep, small driveway and parking area. As far as convenience, you can literally be in downtown Gatlinburg in just a few minutes. The music from Ober Mountain plays all day long and doesn't stop until they shut down at night. I would definitely stay here again.

Cabin on the mountain!

Cabin was very clean and in a great location to everything. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars on everything was there is no views at all of the mountains from the deck. We love looking out at scenery but could get pass all the trees. Outside of that it was exactly what was listed. Took my husband a few days to get use to driving up there but it was worth it. We saw 5 bears in total that were close to the cabin. We had a great time!

26th Anniversary

The cabin was perfect!! Everything was as described & the owners sent a text message everyday we were there to make sure everything was good. The only thing I was disappointed in was there was only a very small area for my dog to do his business & it was uphill. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay & would recommend to anyone!

Ski Mt. Cabin

We had a great stay in this cabin. The drive up the mountain is beautiful. The place was very clean. It was a nice quiet place to stay and enjoy our 10 year wedding anniversay. My husband enjoyed seeing Tennessee for the first time. And we even got a visit from a little baby bear, that decided he wanted to run next to our vehicle on the drive up. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

Anniversary getaway.

The cabin was clean and very nice. The property management checked in with this often and listened to anything that we had to tell them. Getting to the cabin on the Mountain Road was a little tricky.There were some blind turns and narrow roads and it was a very Steep and tricky driveway. I wouldn't suggest it to anyone who has trouble with mountainous roads. Once we got used to the drive it was much better and we enjoyed our stay. We saw lots of bears including one that came right up to the door, but we never had any trouble with them.

Amazing stay!

Me and my wife stayed here for our honeymoon. It was amazing. The location, the property and how clean it was, the features of it. This was a really enjoyable trip. I have nothing to complain about. The owner checked on us almost everyday. We had everything we needed there. The only thing that was tricky was finding it, but the owner provided proper instructions and made it easy. Overall, great time! Would definitely go back

While calling Atlanta home for many years, we decided to move and invest in the great state of Tennessee. We look forward to retiring in the Great Smokey Mountains. We started our first enterprise in Pigeon Forge in 2012 with our cabin "Pampered Camper". Unfortunately it was completely destroyed in the fire of November 2016. With great love and belief in the area, we have reinvested in 2 adjoining cabin homes located in Chalet Village in Gatlinburg. Renovations have just been completed and we look forward to many great years in this area.

Located on top of Ski Mountain right next to Ober Gatlinburg, the views are breath taking, the privacy will be memorable, and hopefully you can catch a glimpse of the mother and Bear Cubs that have taken home to the area. Just down the mountain, you can go from a private getaway to the world of things to do in both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
