The apartment was even more spacious than the pictures! Ligia was amazing, working with us to drop our bags off early before check-in. Overall 10/10. Would definitely recommend this place for staying in porto.

Great apartment, great location

Amazing location, Uber clean apartment, wonderful and friendly traveler assistance

We loved this sweet apartment close to a fun family restaurant, o caracus, and great viewpoints. Luisa was a wonderful travel advisor, and helpful with transfers.

The apartment was very spacious and had a nice patio space to have drinks in the evening. The owners were very helpful and responsive! This property is also very close to the river and sights:)

Amazing Time in Porto!

Our experience at Soa Miguel Apartments was wonderful. Ligia welcomed us when we arrived and helped answer our many questions about Porto. She was very nice and knowledgeable. The unit itself was well equipped, very clean and in an unbeatable location. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

Fantastic!

We had a wonderful stay in Porto! The accommodations were beautiful and in walking distance of shops, restaurants, museums and wineries. Luisa had great communication and was very helpful, as was the cleaning staff. A+. Definitely recommend.

Lovely and in the heart of Porto

Clean with nice design touches and modern amenities like a kitchen and two bathrooms (great hot water pressure!). It does not have a washer/dryer but a very good selfservice laundrette is a few minutes' walk away. The landlady, Louisa, was extremely helpful and on site every day of our stay. Note: this apartment has a steep flight of stairs to the bedroom, so might not be the best choice for everyone. That said, you would be hard pressed to find a nicer, more reasonably priced flat in the heart of the old quarter. Highly recommended.

Comfortable apartment in great location

We had a great stay in Porto . Apartment was very comfortable and attractively furnished and decorated and in a great location to see the sights of Porto and with cafes , bakeries and restaurants nearby . Luisa was wonderful in communicating with us prior to our arrival and was very helpful in giving suggestions of places to see and eat. We especially enjoyed Taberna Avo which is right around the corner and the suggestions that Luisa gave us.The apartment is located in an area that needs a little work like Luiga and Luisa have given to their property . Our apartment had one spacious bedroom with private bath which is located down a tight winder on the flight of stairs and the second bed was a foldout futon in the living area with its own bath, as well. We enjoyed the patio just off the well equipped kitchen with a blackboard covered with chalk drawings of previous guests. I highly recommend and can confidently say that Luisa will take good care of you!

Lovely 2 level apartment, close to centre, quiet neighbourhood

We stayed in one of Ligia's apartments for 2 nights in May. The apartment was the one on the lower levels of the building, not looking towards the street. Two levels, two bedrooms, sweet outside patio. Maximum use was made of the outside light, given the apartment's location in the building. The furnishings, art, soaps, appliances, showers, etc., were all just lovely. We met Ligia briefly, and spent more time with her sister, Lucia, who was very friendly and helpful. We would have had more light, but also more noise, with an apartment facing the street. So the apartment was great. We were 3 people, over 65, and we were able to walk to the apartment easily in 15 minutes or so from the Sao Bento train station. The street is real, people living there, not fancy, not run down, easy access to all the great places in central Porto. The listing (and the photos) is for a number of apartments in the same building, which is a very nice building, but it is important to understand which apartment you are renting, just so one has the correct expectations. In walking around Porto, we went by a number of the other locations that were on our shortlist for places to stay, and we were very glad we chose Ligia's building, in addition to how lovely the apartment itself was inside. We saw one of the other apartments in the building briefly, and it was very nice also. Thank you to Lucia and Ligia.

Un refugio en el corazón de Porto

Nuestra estancia en Sao Miguel fue inolvidable. El apartamento es una maravilla: muy amplio, muy bien decorado, muy limpio, y con una terraza perfecta en la que poder relajarse. La situación del apartamento es inmejorable: a pocos minutos andando de cualquier sitio de interés; y la dueña, Ligia, hizo todo lo posible para que nos sintiésemos como en casa. Cuando vaya a Porto de nuevo, repetiré sin duda.

Buen apartamento para visitar Oporto

Nos alojamos en este apartamento seis personas (4 adultos y 2 niños) durante cinco días. Su ubicación es perfecta para conocer Oporto y no tener que utilizar ningún medio de transporte, la casa está muy limpia y la propietaria es encantadora. El único problema es que no hay mucha intimidad de unas habitaciones a otras, pero esto no es grave teniendo en cuenta que el resto es muy acogedor. Pasamos unos días estupendos y nos hemos llevado más que un agradable recuerdo.

I went with all my family...

Appartement très propre et très agréable situé idéalement dans une rue calme à 5 minutes du métro et du Douro. Seul bémol, le Wifi fonctionne mal. Les hôtes, Luisa et Ligia sont très attentionnées et très gentilles. Merci encore à vous. Porto est une ville à visiter absolument, adapté pour un voyage en famille. Nous y reviendrons...super expérience!

Beautiful location

Lovely apartment with everything you need from a comfy bed to a shower with excellent pressure. The location was perfect down a quiet pretty street with beautiful view, central enough to get to all Porto’s main attractions within a easy stroll. Would definitely highly recommend!!

Thank you Luisa. San Miguel Apartments was a great place for our Porto stay. Great location, very close to everything, so clean, quiet and comfortable. Luisa was a Great host, organising our pick up from the airport and letting us know the good local restaurants and places or interest worth visiting, with maps and clear information. Schöne Wohnung in toller Lage

Au cœur de Porto

L’appartement est parfaitement équipé et décoré avec soin. La situation est idéale pour une découverte de Porto et le quartier est calme. Un seul regret est le manque de luminosité et une odeur d’humidité dans la chambre. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’accueil chaleureux de Luisa et ses bons conseils.

Beautifully appointed apartment, wonderful hosts

The duplex is a beautiful space, full of light and tastefully decorated. Very quiet. The hosts Ligia and Luisa could not be more welcoming. The location is a good midpoint between the crowded cais and the upper parts of Porto. Highly recommend. One small caution. The stairs in the duplex are a little steep. Probably not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Some of the other offerings in this building from the same hosts might be a better option.

Modern & well run

The unit is well located for both riverside and town centre. It is very clean and modern inside, with the outdoor patio a pleasant quiet area. Very nice bathrooms on both levels. The steepish stairs down to main bedroom may be a negative for the less mobile. The communication before and after arrival is probably the best and most enthusiastic of our trip. Thanks.
