Lovely cabin overlooking the lake with pretty view and lots of outdoor spaces. This cabin was well stocked and the owner easy to contact. We had a great time and hope to visit again. Thank you!

Was very happy to return to this lovely property that my family has visited over the years. The boathouse deck is one of the best on Lake lure with spectacular views. The house is small but always cozy and serves our needs. We were outside for most of every day. Lake Lure is back to her glory and looking better than ever! Our hostess went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. A!!

Nice location right on the lake, though a little remote from restaurants etc., precisely why we stayed there. It is rustic and quite small but everything you need is provided - from kayak and life jackets to a full working kitchen.

I’m sorry to hear you do not find the salt and pepper. We do keep basics like that and olive oil in the cabinet above the microwave, as well as coffee in a container on the counter. We also keep sugar in the fridge for guests and for hummingbird nectar so all may enjoy their sweet beverage of choice.

We had an amazing time, what a beautiful cabin! Clean, peaceful, and so lovely. When the lake has been fully restored, it will be the best summer get away. Loved it there and can’t wait to go back. If you are tall, be careful going down the stairs. Highly recommend this sweet gem!

Beautiful lake!

We enjoyed kayaking on the lake. The dock area is a beautiful spot to hang out. The house is small, as others have mentioned, but perfect for two people.

Perfect lakefront stay!

Stayed here for our anniversary weekend. Loved waking up to lake views every morning. The place was clean and had everything you would need. Close to town as well! We loved it!

Relaxing stay on Lake Lure

We loved this property. The views are amazing and having a dock on the lake is the best. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking and just lounging on the dock. The house is the perfect size and was well stocked with everything we needed.
