Excellent Location

Great place for our family of four. Our teenagers loved the loft and the location in Rome was centrally located for everything we wanted. We were able to check in early, very smoothly, to drop our bags after a morning flight into Rome which was very helpful. The local restaurants were fantastic and a Tigre market around the corner was so easy for quick items like wine and sunscreen. Also, recommend grabbing cappucino and pastries at Forno Monteforte on the way out each day.

Amazing location

We loved our stay in a beautiful part of old Rome. We walked to all the sights. The apartment while small is well organized and nicely decorated. Best of all the hosts were super nice and responded quickly to all our questions and provided recommendations of where to eat. Would not hesitate to return or recommend to my friends.

Fantastic Location, Good Set Up

This apartment is fantastically centrally located near everything. Grocery store, bakeries, eateries, and shopping are all within a block and most of the main sites of inner Rome are within a 10-20 minute walk. Communication, helpfulness, and flexibility of the owner/property manager were all great. I'll mention for fairness that the eating/kitchen area are a little tight (we had a full house with 4 of us). This was not a big deal for us as were out most of the days and nights and only really used this area for breakfast as we got ready (pastries from a delicious bakery within 50 feet). All in all a great experience. Thank you Anna Lisa.and team.

The appartement said elevator but the elevator start from the 2nd floor being a problem for my 75 year old mother. The air conditioning well needed because of the hot weather leak inside the house in a bucket that i coud not maintain in the night so in the morning the living room had a pool on the carpet. technician came to look at it the first day saying he will be back in 15 minutes and never came back. Location of the place is good.

Comfortable, easy and the perfect location in Rome

Everything was made easy for us. Clear instructions for the taxi from the airport, and, while driving, connected by phone to Anna's representative, the friendly Simone. He met us at the door, took my hand and brought it –almost-- to his lips, and then looked at grandson Naveed and pronounced him to be Cristiano Ronaldo. He gave us all the info we needed and stayed in touch throughout our stay. A small (of course, perhaps a medieval building) but perfect apartment, husband & I downstairs with our own half bath, sharing the fine shower bathroom with son and grandson who slept in the upstairs loft. SO close to Piazza de' Fiori and Piazza Navona but also we could walk to farther places easily (we do love to walk.) Anna herself saved the day when I left my favorite shirt behind, sending it overnight to my next destination. If we have the good fortune to return, we will happily stay there again.

Close But No Cigar

The location of the apartment is excellent. The check-in however, wasn’t great. The agent that was supposed to meet us at the apartment text my phone in English to check our train arrival time, but he didn’t read the message. The check-in time is listed at 2 so I told him we would arrive at 2. I explained we would eat lunch when our train arrived. He didn’t read the message - except the train arrival time, and assumed we would arrive at 1. He then text me to see where we were. He then said he had another check-in and told us 2:30. We ended up waiting outside the apartment in pouring down rain for a hour because he didn’t respond to any texts. We waited outside and the agent was apparently in the piazza waiting for us. There are two sleeping areas as described in the listing but the mattresses are terrible. The mattress in the loft has no support and it is more suited for kids/young adults. The mattress in the bedroom feels soft-not sure what it is made of but you are guaranteed an aching back in the morning. The apartment is well-appointed but the wi-fi is spotty. The overall cleanliness is very poor. There is thick black mold throughout the shower-we took pictures but apparently VRBO doesn’t allow photos in the review. For the price, I recommend you stay in a hotel that includes a nice breakfast. Your back will thank me!

Our office is just a two-minute walk from the apartment, we were waiting for you to finish your lunch, to meet at the apartment. We just changed the mattresses in the apartment, all 3 of them! Regarding the cleanliness of the apartment, we are deeply sorry to hear about cleaning in the shower. We take this matter very seriously, and we will address it with our cleaning staff immediately. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. While we understand that our apartment may not have met your expectations, we appreciate your feedback and will work to make improvements where necessary.
