Garden cottage stands with the Bolt Hole in row of buildings forming part of a small group of old farmworkers' cottages. It has been carefully renovated to retain its original character, whilst providing contemporary accommodation.
The en-suite bedroom can be organised as a double or twin. Downstairs is the cosy living space with log burner to keep you warm in the cooler months.
Superbly renovated - but please note the original staircase has been retained, so it is narrow and steep!

Lovely stay

3 night stay

We enjoyed our 3 night stay . The cottage was located in a lovely peaceful location . Our dog enjoyed her walks & loved the cottage . All in all a very welcome 3 nights in Norfolk in Garden Cottage with a beautiful garden for us to enjoy & for our dog to securely run round in .

This was our second visit and it definitely won't be our last. So relaxing and fantastic location. Thank you for a great stay and the lovely welcome pack. Exceptionally dog friendly which made our stay even more relaxing.

Lovely Cottage

Lovely cottage with everything you need for your trip away. We have a little dog so the garden was brilliant and we ate outside most nights too. Great position for exploring Norfolk.

Love coming back to garden cottage. Even the dog feels at home straight away. Good location for sight seeing. So much to do. I'm sure we will be back.

Super-comfy cottage in great location.

Been coming to North Norfolk for about 20 years, but closure of our usual farm-stay meant we had to find somewhere new this time. What a brilliant find! Location is great. Exactly half a mile to the Wheatsheaf pub (very friendly and great food), and only a very short drive to the Holt- Sheringham road. Cottage itself is spacious enough for two, with a good size kitchen (fully stocked with utensils) and a downstairs loo/ utility. Lounge is warm and cosy, with a log-burner, radio/CD, TV/DVD and space for muddy boots and wet coats. Bedroom has sloping ceiling (mind your head) and bathroom is large. Didn't use the bath as the shower is one of the best I have ever come across. Spiral staircase is hilarious/ vertiginous depending whether you're at the bottom or top. Didn't get into the garden as we were out exploring all daylight hours, but it's a decent size even if the views are spoiled by the high hedge. Handyman lives next door, which was indeed handy as there was a small leak in the utility room. Not a problem for us, and we were even offered a different cottage if we wanted it, which was very gracious. We were fine where we were. Overall you'll guess we were delighted, and we'll be back again soon.

The location and the cottage couldn't be better, we had a very comfotable week. Everywhere seemed to be very dog freindly too whcih helped.

Perfect honeymoon break

We found the cottage very comfortable and quiet, perfect location for visiting North Norfolk.had every thing you could possibly need , despite our ages ,70,79,we just managed to climb the stairs to bed each evening, highly recommend visiting this lovely cottage

Comfy cottage in ideal location

Cottage well placed for the North Norfolk coast and Sheringham Park. Quiet location with enclosed private garden very relaxing. Excellent welcome pack with bottle of wine, blackcurrant and quince cordial, Blackcurrant jam, large cookies and coffee pods. Kitchen well equipped. Tea, coffee and sugar provided (no salt and pepper ?) Tea pot could do with replacing. All in all clean and very comfortable and relaxing accommodation. Recommend Norfolkstay.co.uk for bookings.

First class cottage

Extremely well equipped and comfortable cottage and our dogs really enjoyed the secure garden. The welcome pack was lovely too. The cottage was very well positioned for all of the North Norfolk coast whilst enjoying a peaceful village location. Great property, which we will definitely like to stay in again.

Lovely cottage for two

This was a delightful cottage. It was clean, looked recently refurbished, well laid out and was extremely cosy. The staircase was very steep, but worth the climb to the nicely decorated bedroom and en-suite. There was a fenced in garden, which was handy especially for the dog. There’s a nice pub 10 minutes walk also. Norfolk Stay were very helpful and sorted out any booking queries we had.

A lovely cottage

Lovely cottage

Lovely cottage and great sized garden for the dog. Very clean and had everything you needed for a break away. Perfect location, close to coast, National Trust properties and towns and villages with great pubs to eat. Very quiet and peaceful. Welcome pack was very appreciated. Will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay in Garden cottage. Comfortable & cosy throughout. Excellent parking. Generous welcome pack. Ideal quiet location to visit the coast, Holt etc. Plenty of good places to eat out near by. Ideal for walking & cycling. Definitely one to go back to even in the winter.

A very enjoyable week

We had a very good week at Garden Cottage. As mentioned the cottage was lovely and clean and is a good base for touring the area. This was not our first stay and we hope to return again. The only blip was the state of the garden furniture which was not the most comfortable to sit on.

Charming cottage in superb location.

Charming old cottage with a pretty private garden. Lovely kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Very well equipped. We did feel the lounge could be made more ‘homely’. A rug under the coffee table would have softened the room.
