The Davos Cabin, Truckee (2br+loft)

Our two-story cabin is located on the 15th fairway in the amazing Tahoe Donner community of Truckee, California. You will love the mountain feel of the cabin and enjoy the warm fire while looking out at the wooded backyard and golf course.

The cabin has two bedrooms as well as a loft bedroom, two bathrooms, and great room. The queen beds are upstairs, one in the bedroom and one in the loft. The twin beds are in the downstairs bedroom. We also provide two fold-out floor mats. All linens are provided. Up to six adults and two children (under thirteen) may occupy the home, with a maximum of eight guests.

We have provided kitchen essentials needed to prepare meals during your stay.

Outside the great room, there is a deck that overlooks the forest and golf course, as well as a deck off the upstairs bedroom – perfect for enjoying coffee on a summer morning. During the warmer weather, take a nap in the hammock or enjoy a game of horseshoes.

We have provided an entertainment library of games, books, and DVDs.

You will find plenty of storage in the garage for your skis, sleds, bikes, etc.

Our property has security cameras to monitor outside the front door, walkway, driveway, and outside the back door.

**FIRE BAN - there is currently a Fire Ban in Truckee. Wood and charcoal fires are prohibited. You may still use the gas barbecue as this is not part of the Fire Ban.

The Davos Cabin was perfect for us. The bear/woodsy decor put us in the Tahoe/Donner frame of mind. Quiet area. Fun to see the golfers from the back yard. Nice and close to Coyote Moon Golf Course, one of our destinations. The kitchen was amazingly equipped - I wished I would have cooked more! I'd stay again!

Beautiful cabin

We had such a great time. The cabin was beautiful, it has everything you need. We really like the fact that it was quiet and the cabin was close to the stores, the Truckee River, etc. we really enjoyed our time here

Great stay

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, extremely well stocked for a rental with everything you could possibly wish for. Carissa was responsive and helpful. I slept in loft and loved waking up to the view the trees out the back windows. My kids loved playing in the snow around the house. The check-in/check-out process was simple. We will definitely stay again!

This property is great! We enjoyed our stay so much. Neighborhood is quiet and safe too; close to shop center. Delivery app services are available in this location too.

Nice cabin in Tahoe Donner area

Our stay was very enjoyable and we loved the amenities and decor of the cabin. It was warm and cozy and our family of four made special memories here. The only hiccup was that the garage did not work so our car got snowed on as we could not store it indoors for the night (the property manager agreed to fix it later).

Perfect!

Great vacation house for a small family (2 adults, 2 kids--but we could have had 2 additional adults with the beds available). Had everything we needed--from kitchen equipment to extra blankets to toothpaste and toothbrushes. Property manager was amazingly helpful and communicative and her step-son helped us get our car out of the deep snow when the blizzard started on our last morning. The location was amazing--both in terms of distance to downhill and cross-country ski areas as well as on the golf course. It had snowed a lot before we arrived and we were in heaven, building snowmen and snowshoeing around the house. It was great to come back to the toasty cabin! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Home away from home

We have not been to Donner Lake before. This property was central to all our activities. Veryclean, well supplied (soap, towels, cookery, detergent, etc). Choice of looking out to trees/green grass or chill out watching TV with cable for the down times. Great retreat! Highly recommend!

Fabulous, cozy and well-equipped cabin

We loved our stay at the Davos Cabin. It is very comfortable, great for a family and has everything you need. Definitely, the most well-equipped cabin we have ever stayed in via VRBO.
