Cobble Cottage nestles within an 18th Century courtyard of holiday homes in a quiet backwater off the main street in the attractive village of Spennithorne in the heart of Wensleydale. Converted from a former coach house, Cobble Cottage provides ground floor accommodation with feature random stone walls in the lounge area along with exposed beams. There is a public footpath behind the property, as well as local walks, pubs and towns nearby.

Weekend break

A fantastic homely dales cottage. Sue and Leigh were excellent hosts and the cottage is well placed for visiting Wensleydale. Plenty of kitchen equipment, comfy sofa and beds.

Lovely cottage and location.

Lovely cottage and location. The beds were so comfortable. We were grateful for the milk in the fridge, etc, on arrival. Not a large property but more than sufficient for a few nights away. We chose the ground floor as we took my elderly parents as they can't drive that far anymore. They loved being back in their happy place where dad could talk of his love of horse racing.

This was our second visit to Cobble cottage and we weren’t disappointed.

This was our second visit to Cobble cottage and we weren’t disappointed. The location is great , the cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need. The courtyard area is enclosed and safe for my toddler granddaughter. to run around in. She loved a pre bedtime stroll through the field behind the cottage and a splash in the stream. We had a minor problem with the TV , but Leigh came over and sorted it straight away. We are hoping to visit again in a few months time.
