Great villa — everything was excellent. We came for an event nearby and mostly stayed at the villa just for the nights, so I can’t say much about the surrounding area. But the accommodation itself was very comfortable, cozy, and clean. The price was great, and the host was exceptionally kind and helpful. Overall, a perfect stay. Would definitely recommend! 17/11/25

Relaxing and rejuvenating

Large and lovely villa located in a safe and quiet area. We particularly enjoyed the table tennis facility and the pool. However the table is not in the best condition. It would have been nice for the water sprinklers to not enter the pool as it made it go colder. Overall it was very clean inside and had most of the facilities mentioned. We were disappointed that there was no washing machine liquid to wash our clothes as I was told we would have some available. There was no specific pot to warm the milk and other liquids and that should also be something they should provide. Also the picture shown above is not accurate as they do no provide any beach towels and so this is misleading and cannot be relied upon. 3 rooms were good and 1 room is not adequate as there is only 1 small cupboard to use and I would say this is a storage room rather than a bedroom. The dining and living room areas are very good. Did not like the early check out but that was known before booking but if you need more time then perhaps look to another place. I liked the area of the villa and there is security as the villa is located on private roads. Overall I think it is 3 star average for the value for money.

The house is located 8 km away from the village of Azeitão, where you can find a reasonably wide range of shops, bakery, butcher, bank, post office, supermarkets and for those who like to cook their own fish/seafood, there are nearby fish markets at Sesimbra or Setúbal.
The region has excellent wine cellars that you can visit. Wine, cheese and the small Swiss roll (tortas) are the specialties of the village.
Sesimbra, the closest city, is famous for fish and shellfish restaurants.
Portinho da Arrábida and Sesimbra are the closest beaches, 15 minutes by car.
For golfers, there are 3 recommended championship golf courses: Quinta do Peru (on-site), Aroeira (15km) and Tróia (20 km)
