A traditional 2-up, 2-down cottage with a home-from-home feel. Two large reception rooms downstairs with a dining table, which can double up as a workspace. The kitchen is small but perfectly formed with a washing machine, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and microwave. You will find two good size bedrooms upstairs with the bathroom. Iron with ironing board and hairdryer are available for your stay.
We have a private patio at the back for warmer nights, there is free on-road parking at the front of the property.

Access to the property is self-service giving you maximum flexibility.
Why they chose this property
Local amenities are on your doorstep at this property as mentioned in the description. Within walking distance are the Macclesfield canal, presently used for narrowboats and the Cloud, the main local landmark (which can be viewed from the upstairs window!). There are many great walking and biking trails, you will find many leaflets in the Cottage for local attractions.
Congleton town centre is a 10/15 minute walk, a thriving market town with its own interesting history, there is an extremely helpful tourist information centre at the town hall if you want to discover the hidden gems of Cheshire!
Close by are several country houses to visit, incl. Biddulph Grange (National Trust – 2 miles), Little Moreton Hall (National Trust 3 miles), Gawsworth Hall and Capesthorne Hall (both privately owned Grand Country Houses - 6 miles) and the Tatton Park (NT) is a 30-minute drive.
