Welcome to Sandybanks. This newly built luxury home with private garden is a perfect base to explore the Rosses and the Wild Atlantic Way. Sandybanks is situated close (350 metres) to Mullaghderg Beach.


Summer/High Season: Weekly Rentals Only, Friday to Friday.
Off Season: We will consider Shorter Breaks, Please contact us directly as to availability or to see if we can facilitate your request.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE PROPERTY
Sandybanks can sleep up to 8 people plus a travel cot is available for 1 infant.
Your rental will be cleaned and sanitised ready for you to enjoy. You can expect all comforts of a fine hotel, including Organic Shampoo soaps and products. Bathrobes from The White Company and slippers with luxury towels and linen. And for you to enjoy on your arrival, for you to enjoy and start your memorable break is a complimentary bottle of Wine or Prosecco with Nibbles.
Your home will include a detailed book providing specific home details, local suggestions, WI-FI access, Tv instructions and more.
If you need anything at all before, during or after your stay, we are available 24/7 and always ready to help.
Check out is 10am and check in is 5pm onward. We must be strict with this.
HOUSE RULES
NO STAG/HEN Parties, Events or large parties to be held at the Holiday Homes. We would like guests to treat the home with respect and leave it in the condition they found it on arrival.
Any damages to the property will be taken from your Security Deposit.
We cannot accept any more than 8 guest
A copy of our House Rules are in the guest information book or are available on request.
PETS.
Although we love pets I am sorry to say that we DO NOT allow them in our Holiday Homes.

We have a strict NO SMOKING policy on all our properties.

First floor Small attic kids TV room with a 55" tv and Morocan sofa.

First floor landing office desk with glass balcony.

Outside there is a separate BBQ and Sauna hut. additionally there is a outdoor furnished patio area with cozy blankets with a wood only fire pit. There is also a array of outdoor games including Giant Jenga and Swing ball to help you enjoy your stay.

Cozy Blankets, Beach towels, 8 beach chairs picnic cooler for use on the beach.

LOCATION
Sandybanks is situated in a quiet idillic location of Mullaghderg Banks and is walking distance (350 metres) from the golden sands of Mullaghderg beach, which is ideal for walking. There is a safe swimming strand which is an ideal place to take a dip weather permitting. The location offers unrivalled and stunning North Atlantic views. Incredible sun sets can be enjoyed from many points on Mullaghderg Strand. If you're really lucky Dolphins may be spotted. They are regular visitors to our shores.
A short drive away is the blue flag beach of Carrickfinn which offers pristine white sand and magestic dunes. It is also where Donegal Airport is located. Car hire is available.
The Rosses have a historic and rich culture of art and music with artists such as Enya, Clannad and Daniel O'Donnell coming from the area.
The Rosses also offer some the best Angling in Europe with both Sea and Game Angling available locally. Permits may be required.
If Golfing is your past time there are 10 Golf courses with in one hours drive providing a selection of some of the finest links and parkland courses in the County.
We are spoilt with the array of local eateries from the fine dinning experience of Danny Minnies in Annagry (booking in advanced is advised) to the best plate of Scampi in our opinion offered by Caisleain Oir Hotel, also in Annagry, where they have an extensive menu of hearty family favourite food. Leo's Tavern is a 15 mins drive away. It is the home of Enya and Clannad and you may be lucky enough to savour a traditional music session whilst enjoying there tasty bar food. The Viking House in Kincasslagh also offers traditional fare and is but a short drive from us, it also serves a great pint. But our local is Bonners Bar in Mullaghduff for a good pint and a mean Elvis Burger.
The town of Dungloe is a 20 min drive away and offers a wide selection of shopping such as Lidls, Aldis and Super Valu for groceries. it is also home to the Cope which sells groceries and everything from a needle to a anchor, clothing, hardware, etc. There are a number of pharmacies, a post office, and gift shops there by covering most basic necessities. There is also a wide selection of Restaurants Cafes and carry outs in the town. There is a local tourist information centre housed in the same building as the library which may offer additional ideas of things to do locally. Fishing permits can be obtained from Bonners souvenirs on the Main Street.

This home is in the perfect location and has all your needs! Trevor is a fantastic host and went WELL out of his way to help us when we needed it. Absolutely recommend this home. Added bonus, you’ll get your steps in easily with all the stairs :D
