A perfect, secluded get-away in besutiful Tuscany

What can I say! The property lived up to all our expectations. Beautifully and comfortably decorated and furnished, especially the outdoor area and the bedroom upstairs. Equipped with everything we needed and a lovely welcome from Chiara, who took us round the property and explained everything. We made full use of the covered outdoor area, eating all our meals at the outdoor table or reading our books there in the lovely seating area by the pool. There are sunbeds too for drying off after a dip in the private pool. A perfect spot to wind down, listen to the cicadas in the trees and watch the butterflies flitting around the plants or the geckos chasing eachother along the walls. A 15 minute drive from the walled town of Lucca, we enjoyed lots of lovely meals there. We were also able to visit Florence and the picturesque "Cinque Terre" coastal villages were only an hour away. Honestly - a great break in a gorgeous spot.
