This is our home in a wonderfully peaceful residential area and, along with our lovely neighbours, we wish to keep it that way. Please do not engage in any activity that would be seen as anti-social or cause disruption to others. No fireworks please. Thank you for your understanding.
Please be aware we have a Ring doorbell and an outdoor noise monitor in place, in order to comply with our licence conditions. Neither device records video or conversation. We reserve the right to terminate a rental if there is excessive noise or disturbance.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
We don't expect the place to be spotless but ask it is left tidy, dishes are clean and put away, and any spills cleaned up. It's also a help if used towels and bed linen are placed in the laundry bag.
To keep guest costs low we don't charge a cleaning fee, and are often on a tight turn around, so these wee things are much appreciated. Thank you :-)
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
We ask that guests avoid making noise outside after 9pm as this is a lovely, quiet residential area. No fireworks. Thank you for your understanding.
Please do not park out on the street. There is parking for three cars in the garden.

Great cottage that was very comfortable and well equipped. Everything you need and in a very convenient place for everything you could want to do in the area.
The house is in a quiet cul de sac with easy access to a network of forest paths much to the enjoyment of our children who loved the freedom and of the adults who appreciated the peace and beauty. There was an abundance of activities to fill each day and a pleasant home to return to in the evening.

Pleased you had a good time. We love the Cairn pub too, great having it within easy walking distance. Thank you!
I couldn’t have been more delighted with the cottage. Warm, dry, and pleasant even on a wet day, my family was excited to come home at the end of each of our hikes in the Cairngorms for a fire and reading in the comfy chairs and couches. The kitchen was perfectly stocked - even a cake pan for celebrating our sons birthday- and the location was very quiet.
Hope to return again one day!

I am very confused by your review. The photos in no way are misleading and, when I contacted you out of concern at you leaving, your wife informed me your departure was due to your son being taken unwell. No mention at all of any other reason. Your review is not accurate.
Rowan Park is a very pretty and quiet cul -de-sac, and number 9 sits at the far end.
The house is very spacious inside, much larger than expected, so everyone has lots of space and are easily accommodated.
The house was spotless on arrival and had a lovely homely feel.
Kitchen had everything you could possibly need, and had a large dining nook, overlooking the bird feeders in the garden.
The master bedroom is enormous, (our friend who ended up with it felt so spoilt to have such a gorgeous place of his own), and the other bedrooms are nicely sized and furnished with everything you need.
Livingroom was a lovely place to spend the evenings and the roaring fire was a treat.
No.9 sits on the edge of a forest, so very quickly you can be surrounded by nature. You can walk to Boat of Garten through the woods, and all trails are signposted.
Within 2mins of beginning our walk we spotted 5 deer in the bushes and it made our day, so keep a good look out.
Carrbridge itself is a beautiful village with lots of walks and things to explore and see. Highly recommend the Cairn Hotel bar, log fire, good food and great local beers, dog friendly too.
We also took a walk to the railway station and nipped into Aviemore for an afternoon so you dont always have to drive if you want to explore further afield.
Would highly recommend this property and will definitely be returning.

Thank you so much for your lovely review Karen, delighted you had such a good time - and the wildlife even obliged! You'd be very welcome back.
We have loved the Cairngorms area all our lives and now enjoy sharing it with our four children. We love the outdoor lifestyle here, so much to do and see - so many wonderful cafes to visit and cakes to eat! Number Nine really is a second home to us and we are sure it will leave you feeling the same way.
Why they chose this property
A very warm Highland welcome awaits in our lovely woodland village. Carrbridge is a thriving, friendly village with all the amenities you could ask for. There is a wonderful network of paths through the woods, up the river and beyond – endless walking and family friendly off-road cycling from the door. The woods can be accessed directly off our road. Mountain bikers will love it! The village has its own golf course, cafe, friendly local pub with excellent food, Spar shop and the award winning Landmark Adventure Park offers a fabulous day out for the whole family. There is also an enchanting carving trail round the village. The local scenery and wildlife are exceptional. Further afield you will find the steam railway, historic buildings, walking for all abilities, lochs and hills, fishing, zip wires, watersports, skiing, clay pigeon shooting and the world famous Speyside whisky trail to name only a few. We are well positioned for exploring the entire Cairngorms National Park, Loch Ness and the wonderful Moray coast too. Come and see for yourself, you won't be disappointed!
