40th Celebrations

A group of my friends who all turned 40 recently just stayed at The Neuk and the property was everything we wanted. Lots of socialising space, a hot tub and the table tennis all contributed to a great weekend. The local pub just around the corner was also an added bonus.Would definitely recommend to any wanting to stay in the Aviemore area.

Enjoyable short family break

Large family group stayed for a lone weekend. House was very spacious with lots of room for all. The hot tub and ping pong table areas was great. Some of the downstairs doors to outside were stiff/difficult to open. The sofa was great for young people but not great for those who needed more support to sit upright / lack of good chairs. The house was very clean but could do with a deep clean, particularly under the sofa. The garden was great but not fully enclosed - if it could be enclosed at the log store this would be helpful to allow a dog outside for a wonder and a sniff. The beds were all very comfortable, with the exception of the downstairs double which was a bit too soft for my liking. Fortunately the weather was kind so sitting out on the balcony with morning coffee was possible and just lovely. Great value for money, would recommend.

September weekend

Had an absolutely amazing stay at The Neuk. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Was great fun having the hot tub and ping pong table and amazing having the hot tub on and ready for our arrival! The beds were extremely comfortable and we had everything we needed, was a great spacious house. The dealings with the company and owners was also very helpful, providing a speedy response to any queries had and being very accommodating. Overall a fantastic stay had at this wonderful property!

Super house in brilliant location, but some small improvements would make it even better

A super house - it’s our second year staying at the Neuk. A few negative points: .. the house needs a good deep clean ..some items missing- a pan for the large brush, oven gloves, a small kitchen knife ( only very large knives which are difficult for cutting fruit etc), ..this time there was no dish washing liquid, and no dishwasher tablets - not even 1 to start us off. Perhaps if the latter is not to be supplied that should be made clear before arriving, as it’s difficult to clean dishes after first meal on the evening of arrival at 4pm! These are all small points which could be easily addressed. I hope so as we plan to be back again next summer. Thank you.
