First of all, the people who administer the rental and the location are off the charts amazing. Dasha, our greeter, was an absolute GEM! She was helpful when we got into a bit of a medical crisis and after, when we left something of incredible value behind in the apartment. Walking to the Colosseum -- just seeing it right as you walk out of the apartment -- was amazing. We loved becoming a part of the community there, frequenting the coffee shop, wine bar, and even florist down the street. Would definitely stay there again.

Holiday Trip

The location is great. The communication is amazing, every time we had a question, they would respond immediately! There is no elevator, the second bathroom is very cold and almost not useful at all. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

Great Location

Great Location One of the bathroom is very small. We were 4 adults people so we needed to use both bathroom. I am a short person 5'2 had a hard time taking a shower.

Colossal stay in Rome

Excellent stay in Rome (our second trip). Apartment was great. Location was awesome (200m from Colosseum). Metro 200m away (in both directions) and a bus stop almost outside the front door. We would give the host/greeter (Dasha) 6 stars but it only went up to 5 !

Good Location

We enjoyed our stay in this quaint apartment. We loved that we were in walking distance to the colosseum and many beautiful basilicas. We visited in July, and it was very hot! The air conditioner worked wonderfully! One of the bathrooms was super small but functioned well. I gave cleanliness 4 stars because the 2nd bedroom bedsheets needed attention. We would stay here again.

Holiday in Rome

Great location and place to stay. We enjoyed walking out the apartment and seeing the Coliseum. I may have lost a size 11 ring with an oval white stone in it. Please let me know if it is found.

Our hosts were wonderful. The flat was clean and conveniently located. Only reason not 5 star was the smell of smoke. Most people might not notice but I’m very sensitive.

1st time in Rome

The apartment was perfectly located. Just past the Colosseum with easy access to Metro etc. The neighborhood was lively and safe. Best of all, the hosting entity took care of everything, our transport from the airport to the door of the apartment where the had someone waiting to let us in and show us our place. They were responsive within a few minutes for all our needs and questions. Info in apt was comprehensive and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Not as expected

Excellent location, very responsive communication with host throughout the booking and arrival, who also coordinated our transport. Regrettably, there was a strong odor of sewage in the apt. upon arrival especially in the bathrooms which persisted throughout our stay. One bathroom is so small that an adult can barely fit in it to use the toilet.

As advertised - great stay

I selected this property because of all the positive feedback about the location. As with all things in Rome, the unit was smaller than other places we have stayed. The owner Walter, provided great communication from the initial inquiry about the property and throughout our stay. When we arrived at the unit, Walter was waiting for us and provided a thorough review of the property and sites to visit in Rome. He arranged for our transfer from the airport to his property, and for two separate cabs as family members were headed in different directions. Walter went the extra mile with every communication / interaction we had. Great guy and the location was perfect. Thank you Walter. Highly recommended.

Lovely Apartment - Great Location

My husband Pat, myself and my sister in law Kathy stayed here the week of March 31st - April 7th. Natalia and Walter were very accommodating and friendly. The apartment was decorated nicely and both bedrooms were very comfortable. The only drawback I would mention is that the one bathroom is too small to be called a full bathroom. I think it needs to be called a half/ full bathroom. I’m a small person and I had trouble using it. The other bathroom was perfect. The location was perfect and we were in walking distance of the metro and the Colosseum. I would recommend this apartment for two or three people. A family of 4 might be crowded. I

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Natalia and Walter were extremely helpful! Their apartment was beautiful, perfect for our needs! Located so close to the colosseum and the metro station. The time they took to sit with us and go through what we should see and Natalia's picks on restuarnts was awesome! Our favorite was one of Natalia's recommendations that was just half a block from our door step! We will reccomend this property to our closest family and friends. In fact we had a family member coming to Rome as we were leaving and we both said we wish they were coming later so we could tell them to stay here! The apartment was the perfect location for getting to our tours that we had booked. If you are not sure what to book Natalia and Walter will guide you so you have the BEST Rome experience ever!!! We couldn't have asked for anything more!!!!

Comfortable and homely

Comfortable, homely place. Good appliances with everything in good condition. Suitable for 2 adults and a child, not really 4 adults, pretty small. The second bathroom is tiny!! Tried to use the shower once but just too small and uncomfortable. But overall good location and place. The transfer organised by the host didn't turn up though which was pretty disappointing and stressful! When we tried to contact the host they then didn't answer. Maybe consider going through a better transfer company we would suggest.

Lovely Apartment in a Great Location

This 2-bedroom apartment is a short walk from the Colosseum in a good neighborhood with lots of great restaurants. Walter met us at check-in and graciously spent lots of time with us making sure that we understood the key system, air conditioning, TV, etc. He marked out important tourist destinations on a map for us and recommended restaurants in the area. His welcoming orientation was a great way to start us off on our visit to Rome. The apartment itself is very well-appointed and clean and the beds were comfortable. We could not have asked for a better experience and highly recommend this apartment to others. Both Walter and Natalia were responsive to us prior to our arrival and very accommodating with our schedule. Natalia arranged for transportation to the airport for us and they even left us a cell phone to use to make local calls and to get in touch with them if we needed to. Thank you, Walter and Natalia for helping to make our vacation such a great experience!

Small and cramped, we thought we were getting more according to the pictures and were disappointed

We were within view of the Colliseium. Rome overall is quite dirty and crowded. The apartment was very small with no room for an adult male to sit on the toilet, my husband was not able to use this bathroom. The other, with the washer was a fair size. The kitchen lacked larger coffee cups and the coffee maker did not produce great coffee. The water for the shower was not very hot. The shuttle to and from the airport was a nice touch at 60 euros. The metro to the Vatican was so crowded but easy to navigate, prepare to stand the entire way. We were left plenty of into on surrounding tourist sites to visit.

Spectacular stay in Rome

Walter and Natalia, thank you for the efforts you made in preparation for our trip to Rome. From our limo pick-up by Pasquale at the airport to Stefania meeting us at apartment to location of property to recommendations for local dining experiences to our transport back to airport for our departure, our stay was stellar. The apartment off San Giovanni in Laterno was perfectly located. It seemed as though we could toss a stone to the Colosseo. 2 BR and 2 BA were ideal for the 3 of us. We walked everywhere, averaging 5.5 miles/day. There was ample info in apartment for activities. Eating at Luzzo's was a great treat in experiencing a local favorite. From the brick pizza oven at the door to the delicious house red wine, it was fantastic. For an upscale dining experience, we recommend Isadoro's. It is a 2 minute walk. Try the ASSIGNINI menu and let the chef surprise you. 4 different courses were sufficient for the 3 of us. While there, ask for Alessandra. She was the perfect person in walking us through our dining experience. The time was too short, I (we) look forward to another trip to Rome. Again, thank you Walter and Natalia and I hope your vacation to Miami was relaxing.

A Cozy Retreat near Famous Ruins

Natalie and Walter's apartment is a wonderful two room apartment in an ideal location which is easy walking distance to the Coliseum and the Forum. At the other end of the street is the Basilica San Giovanni in Laterano. Both sites are in easy walking distance. This nicely appointed apartment on the second with two bedrooms, comfortable bed, two bathrooms with shower, though the one is a bit small, was very comfortable for my wife and I and a third traveling companion. It also comes with a washing machine and dishwasher. There's a nice sitting area and kitchen and the host were very gracious to ensure that there was good Wi-Fi as well as a cell phone that would enable us to reach them at any time if we had a problem. There is a bus stop right near the apartment's Street entrance and two wonderful places to eat within the block, Ristorante Isidor and Gelateria San Clemente, where we got our daily fix of gelato. You can also visit the Basilica St. Clementone, which is a must see and next to Isador. You will also find that your hosts will give you great detail on places to see, how to access transportation and even make a call on a reservation if you need. There are little stores close by to get drinks and items for meals. The Colosseum Metro stop is also close by. The apartment looks down on the street, but with the windows closed it is very quiet. However, the street is busy for cars, but is very safe for walking. We highly recommend that you consider this cozy retreat near iconic ruins when you next visit Rome.
