Hare Cottage is a family run getaway in Abergavenny. Upon your arrival you will be greeted with personal touches, a spotlessly clean house in one of the best locations in town.

Hare Cottage is just 4 minutes walk from the centre of the bustling market town of Abergavenny where you can find markets, restaurants, cafes, museums, castles, parks and an independent shopping quarter.
This recently refurbished and purposely developed property is set up to make your Welsh getaway as seamless as possible. Hare Cottage is a cosy yet very well-equipped property in a prime location in Abergavenny.

The lounge consists of a comfortable sofa and chair along with a Smart HD TV with all streaming services so that you can enjoy films and TV during your stay.

The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils and cooking basics (salt, pepper, oil etc). New appliances have been installed and are all of modern standards.

The spacious bathroom has a rain shower for a feel of luxury.

The bedrooms are very comfortable with storage for your clothes and great views towards the local mountains.

Private off-street parking is available at the rear of the property.

Absolutely charming!

What a fabulous place to vacation in Abergavenny. The location is perfect, on a quiet street a few minutes walk from the High street, the castle ruins, and Linda Vista gardens/castle meadows. I really appreciated the fully stocked kitchen (assorted sized serving bowls, knives, beautiful mugs and dishes, etc) as I was there for a week. The host responded quickly to my inquiries (use his email from the confirmation email and not the Vrbo message link) before and during my stay and I would definitely stay here again. A note: this was the first time I paid a host directly and not through Vrbo so that was a bit of a surprise.

Hare cottage

Fully stocked with extras one wouldn't have expected. Cleaning material of all sorts; shampoos and conditioner etc in the bathroom; tea, coffee, sugar and other condiments in the kitchen.... excellent.

Hare Cottage

The cottage is very central and in walking distance to the shops and market. The house was clean and warm, with a well equipped kitchen and a powerful shower. Would benefit from softer towels , and the front door needs attention, as we had difficulty opening and closing it. However enjoyed the stay and the house benefits from private parking .
