Fabrizio was an excellent host. Place lays out a bit smaller that the pictures look. Only complaint is that there is not good relaxing sitting area just a small loveseat. Would be nice to have a spot to lay out for a few after long days walking around Rome. Other than that its a great safe place to stay.

Stefano and Fabrizio are great hosts. They assisted us with transportation from the airport when we arrived and to the cruise port when we departed. They also took the time to greet us when we arrived and provided helpful suggestions for restaurants, markets etc.Their apartment is located in a safe and quiet area of Trastevere, while being a short walk to a myriad of restaurants, shops and bars. Although it’s within the gates of a building with multiple family members, the apartment is quite private. We would definitely stay there again in the future.

Good stay in Trastevere

I liked this apartment a lot. The upstairs patio makes the space so very gracious and hospitable. The kitchen also is quite large for an European kitchen. It would have been very lovely to have a few extra towels and to have some updated pots and pans for the kitchen. The only other thing is that the actual apartment is smaller than what the pictures make it seem to be. Beyond that, our hosts were lovely and it was a great stay. Also, the location is wonderful. So serene and peaceful next to the park.

Endroit très sympa, idéal pour deux mais sera trop petit pour 4. Petite terrasse sympa bien que toute proche des voisins. Literie de qualité, tout l'équipement pour cuisiner. Propriétaire dispo pour aider. bel endroit de qualité sans etre luxueux, dans l'ensemble budget élevé.

Amazing… Location, Property Host

We stayed 7 nights and wish it was more. Fabrizio, the owner/host was incredibly helpful and always available. The property was perfectly located and we walked everywhere without the need for public transportation. The shops and restaurants were great and we enjoy some of the best food ever. It was perfect and the home was the base. Thank you to Fabrizio. We hope to return in the future.

Great stay in Rome

The host was very friendly and responsive and helped make our stay very enjoyable. The apartment was nicely laid out and well appointed. We loved the rooftop terrace with the view over the Botanical Gardens. Great place in a very handy location to tour Rome.

Excellent location

Loved the neighborhood. Easy walk to everything. Loved the apartment and hosts were top notch. It was probably the hottest week of the year during my stay. The only small issue was the 2nd bedroom only had ac from the main living area instead of inside the room.

Our stay in Trastevere

This area is the best place to stay when visiting Rome it is within walking distance to most of the tourist attractions and nestled in a quiet street next to the botanical gardens it is quiet except for the birds chirping! The hosts are friendly, helpful and gave us a great list of restaurants and places to visit. The unit is lovely with all the amenities we needed to stay in a home away from home. Thank you Stefano.

Perfect spot for your trip to Rome!

This was an outstanding location and property. We stayed 8 nights in Trastevere and could not be happier with our stay. The apartment is in a beautiful location overlooking the botanical gardens. Inside was very comfortable and cozy. Great bed. Wonderfully decorated with many beautiful paintings by the owners mother. Simply incredible to see each night. Close enough to central area for shopping and restaurants in an easy walk but far enough from the hustle and bustle so nice and quiet. Very quiet and safe neighborhood. Easy walk to St Peter’s, Campo di Fiore, etc. The management was outstanding. Extremely helpful. Arranged numerous private car transfers and provided great insights on where to go. Fabrizio was a real treat. Will come back for our next trip to Italy. If you want a great place in a great location with great service, Stay at Donus Monami Dreams and Terrace!!! Would give it a higher rating if I could.

Perfecto!

The apartment was everything it was marketed to be, and was perfect for our needs: sisters from the U.S. spending a week in Rome, visiting our niece who was wrapping up her study abroad semester in Rome. We could walk every where from this apartment, to Vatican City, to the Pantheon Institute (the study abroad school), the Colosseum, not to mention markets. The two terraces were charming. The roof terrace overlooked the botanical gardens. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, with the apartment in a gated complex of ancient buildings. Cafes and restaurants were plentiful. We would absolutely book this apartment again!

Charmant, très bien situé, très bon accueil.

Accueil parfait, Fabrizio s'est même occupé de nous réserver les taxis pour les transferts. De nombreuses informations données à notre arrivée pour nous faciliter la ville et les visites. Appartement charmant et bien équipé, tout est présent niveau équipements pour cuisiner. Le calme règne car situé côté jardin botanique. Il est très bien situé pour les visites, l'on peut tout faire à pied. deux terrasses équipées et de nombreuses plante vertes pour décorer. Peut-être le lit côté salle de douche qui commence à vieillir... Nous recommandons.

Perfectly located, clean, peaceful, lovely property

My son and I spent a week in Rome and loved everything about our trip, including this perfectly located, clean, peaceful, lovely property. I started my days with coffee and my book on the beautiful patio surrounded by the serene botanical gardens and chirping birds. We walked to all the must see tourist sites and loved being only a 5 minute walk to the heart of Rome's restaurants/bars. The apartment itself was smaller than I expected from the photos online, but the description is spot on. It was perfect for the two of us. The beds were comfortable, the shower pressure and water temperature great, ice cube trays were in the freezer, air conditioner worked well, and again the most wonderful patio to either start or end your day in the most relaxing way. Stafano was an incredible host - helping us with our car service to and from the airport, providing local recommendations, and supplying us with a map of the city that we frequently referenced. If I make it back to Rome, I would not hesitate to stay at this property again.

Dreamy Rome Hideaway

Beautiful cozy home on quiet and quaint street near to the Botanical Garden and the exquisite Villa Farnese both minutes in walking distance. Fantastic little cafe on corner for coffee and pastry. Just south of Tibur in the best neighborhood, Trastevere. Close enough to Rome sites without the insane crowds. Two lovely terraces to soak up the views and bird song each morning and evening. Kitchen has all amenities including American and an Italian coffee maker as well as toaster over, microwave, etc. Host, Fabrizio, resides next door and is friendly, available and very accommodating with everything. Such a wonderful experience and stay. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful Apartment in Trasteve

We stayed 18 nights at Fabrizio's lovely apartment, it is on a quiet street with lots of flowers and plants. The space was clean, comfortable and convenient to everything. The host was very attentive and answered our messages quickly. I would definitely recommend this stay!

Great stay

Visited over the holidays with our two daughters. Fabrizio was a great host, connected us with transfer from FCO, assisted personally with arrival and familiarized us with neighborhood. Cafes, market, cab stand, restaurants, atms, wine shop, etc all within short walking distance. Very quiet location at end of alley. Wish it were warmer to enjoy rooftop terrace! Great spot in our view.

Wonderful Roman Stay!

The property was spacious and well equiped. The location was excellent with everything a traveler could need or want within walking distance or a short cab ride. The proprietor was very helpful and friendly. We just really enjoyed the place and the location. If you are driving in, this is the perfect place, it has this huge garage. Just a warning though, if you are driving make yourself very familiar with the ZTLs of Rome - Google it.

Trastevere apartment

Fabrizio the host is very kind. He allowed early check in and while waiting for the cleaner to finish we sat on his terrace and he gave us tips about the neighborhood. He gave us a map with grocery stores and restaurants that he recommends. He was very responsive during our stay and arranged a ride to the airport The apartment is perfect for a couple and maybe another person but probably too small for more-only one bathroom. It is a nice space with good AC and all necessary amenities. The best part is the roof deck overlooking the botanical garden. The garden is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon especially if you have had enough of city crowds. The apartment is on a quiet street close to everything you may need. Nice cafe at the end of the street. We hope to return

Amazing AC

I know this may sound trivial, but many rentals in Europe do not have adequate air conditioning to keep up the hotter temperatures these days. Overall a perfect rental. Great location, super clean and you cannot beat the balcony.
