The home is full of character, from its slate fireplaces and pine shutters to vintage furniture and floor-to-ceiling bookshelves. Itâs the perfect antidote to sleek modern apartments â offering the warmth and personality of a well-loved family home.
The large kitchen evokes a countryside feel with a stone floor, range cooker and wine fridge â and opens out onto a small patio for morning coffee or evening drinks. For warmer days and al fresco dining, the first-floor roof terrace includes a barbecue, wooden dining table and chairs.
Sleeping up to five guests, the master bedroom occupies the first floor and features French antique furnishings and an en suite bathroom with a freestanding roll-top bath and original Victorian fittings. (Please note the shower in this bathroom is ornamental and not in use.)
