The internet/wi-fi is provided by cable from the main supplier in Cyprus and is approx 20mb which is more than sufficient for all normal usage.

Villa Oleander is situated in the breathtaking hills of Tremithousa which is just on the Northern edge of Paphos. Its elevated position ensures all-round town and sea views which can be enjoyed from the landscaped garden, swimming pool and from most rooms of the house.

Only a 15 minute drive from the Blue Flag beaches at Coral Bay and from the centre of Paphos, Tremithousa is a popular location for visitors, ex-pat residents and holiday home owners alike.

Looking down on the main town of Paphos (out to the Med), this is a more traditional village which allows you to see the quieter way of life yet still offers all the local amenities you would require. Within 800m from the villa is the village square where you find a cafe/bar called 'Hunters Cafe' which offers an array of food & drink at various times of day & night. There is also a main hub of shops offering a larger choice from bakers (24 hours wth hot and cold food takeaway), supermarkets, more choice of eateries, petrol station & kiosk meaning anytime you find yourself needing to get something, there is somewhere close by to allow you to do so.

The village of Tremithousa sits proudly on the hill above Paphos, giving you stunning view of the city & areas. It also has easy access to the main Polis road & quick links to the motorway making it a perfect location to be for you to do your sightseeing towards Limassol, Larnaca & the Troodos mountains.

There is also a direct road to Tala which has a brilliant atmospheric village square where food & drink is offered all day & night. The monastery of Tala is also an excellent visitor attraction. Paphos Town can be reached in 10 minutes or less and the beaches and coastline at Coral Bay and Paphos are just 15 minutes away.

Neighbouring Tala offers a peaceful location with a good village heart including the impressive monastery (with cafe and cat sanctuary) and a fine selection of bars, restaurants, traditional tavernas and other eateries. Just outside Tala into the hillside is 'Vatouthka', a family run Taverna with amazing views and atmosphere. The Sunday lunch buffet is the best value around and booking is always advisable.


Neighbouring villages Emba and Mesogi offer a further choice of restaurants and shops away from the main tourist areas. Mesogi is home to 2 large bakeries and couple of the best traditional tavernas around.

Kelftiko night at Vassos' taverna on a Thursday is a must do. Great traditional atmosphere, authentic food, music and dancing until late.

The village is conveniently situated for Golf at 'Minthis Hills', with further golf courses at ‘Elea Estate' (Faldo designed), Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills less than 30 minutes away by car. More info on Golf in Paphos, Cyprus here

''Lovely spacious villa, with a fab view, brilliantly managed. Heated pool meant the kids could swim for hours even when low season (Easter). Well equipped kitchen. Ping pong an unexpected plus. Definitely recommend a car but I think that would be the case in most places. Thank you to Ben and Glenn for such easy comms and making our visit so relaxed and welcoming. PS there’s now a full length mirror (I read an earlier review saying it didn’t have one- I think it’s always a good sign when reviews are listened to).

Highly recommend King Fisher Tavern if you like fish/seafood. Plus Seven Saint George and the other places recommended by others. .''

''The villa itself was absolutely beautiful and very suitable for our party. A couple of minor issues were reported to Ben and he responded very promptly. We only have one negative and that was a lack of full length mirrors in the bedrooms . There was only one in the master.

We loved the location as we had a hire car for the entire duration. You definitely need a car. However it’s a relatively short distance into Paphos Would highly recommend the 24 hour bakers which is a short distance away. We took a trip to Omodos which is a fantastic village in the mountains. Very easy to get to and a good road.

We were extremely satisfied with LetsRentOnline. You were very professional, informative and prompt. The local agents were easy to communicate with and responded in a good timely manner.I don’t think you need to improve the service it is impeccable.

We will definitely be re-visiting Cyprus in the very near future and will be attempting to re-book Villa Orleander. Thank you for an amazing holiday. Kindest regards Julie .''

''Excellent villa as expected. Hard to find initially even though we stayed two doors away a few years ago!! Sat Navs didn’t help but your pin did!

We visited and liked Melitzia Taverna (Tala Square) - Cheap, amazing home cooked food. Oniro by the sea (Sea Caves) Expensive, top quality! Imperial Chinese (Paphos Harbour) Reasonable, best Chinese food we have eaten in years!

As always 10/10 for your service. All good locally also. Everything was excellent. .''

''The villa was fantastic. Very spacious, plenty space for one larger family or two families of four, clean & comfortable with amazing views and a great pool & outdoor area

​We loved the quiet location in Tremithousa village but only 10 mins by car to busier Paphos areas, & liked that we were within walking distance of shops/restaurants & 24hr bakery. We can recommend:

''We stayed at Villa Oleander in July 22 and had a lovely time. The villa was clean and nicely laid out. We really appreciated the air conditioning and ceiling fans in each bedroom and also in the lounge/dining area. The villa is in a good location in an elevated position with a lovely view over Paphos and out to sea. We did need the car as there aren’t really any shops or restaurants within easy walking distance. The pool was a good size and there were plenty of sun beds with cushions which were very comfortable. We enjoyed eating Al fresco by the pool on some evenings and watching the beautiful sunsets in the evening. We had a nice welcome pack on arrival and the owners responded quickly when we contacted them about something while we were there. The beach at Coral Bay is about 20 minutes away and there is another nice beach just a little further on. Altogether a lovely holiday. Highly recommend. ''
