A beautiful conversion of a large, traditional Tuscan country house in the heart of the stunning Chianti landscape.

Set on extensive, well-kept grounds, with a shared swimming pool, this sensitively converted home is the perfect holiday retreat. The whole property has been divided into 8 parts, each with a private terrace area. This apartment has 2 charming bedrooms and can sleep up to 6 people.

The owners have taken every care to sensitively restore the property, using local materials, to create an elegant ambience. There are terracotta tiled floors throughout and the ceilings are made from traditional wooden beams with terracotta tiles.

The ground floor consists of an airy sitting area with an open fireplace, sofa, armchair and a classic Tuscan coffee table. Double doors lead out onto the garden. The kitchen is through a traditional brick archway and down a short flight of wide steps. It is tastefully furnished with new cream cabinets and a wooden dining table for 6 people. It is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and drip coffee machine. Another set of double French windows leads from the kitchen to the private terrace looking out over the garden. The terrace has another dining table, chairs and a large parasol for shade.

Elegant wooden and iron stairs lead from the living room up to the bedrooms on the first floor. There are two spacious bedrooms and a shared bathroom.

The large swimming pool has multiple sun-loungers and parasols where guests can relax. The pool has a special hydrotherapy seating area to ease away any tension. There is also a charming, green pergola with tables and seats which all guests can enjoy.

Sleeping
Bedroom 1: A large, bright room, traditionally furnished with a wrought iron double bed, wardrobe and with stunning views out over the valley.
Bedroom 2: This spacious bedroom has 2 single beds which can be joined. There is a large wooden wardrobe and drawers.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed.

Bathrooms
Bathroom 1: This modern tiled bathroom, with access from the first-floor landing, has a glass-fronted shower, basin, bidet and WC.
Bathroom 2: On the ground floor, this brightly tiled bathroom consists of a shower, basin, bidet and WC.

A town tax of €1/day per person (over 14 years old) needs to be paid at the property for up to 6 days.
A Refundable Security Deposit of €200 must be paid in cash at the time of check-in (€400 for groups under 21)
Please note that the pool is open from April 15 to October 30.

Please note check-in time is between 16.00-20.00 and check-out time is between 08.00-10.00. Any other check-in/out time has to be previously agreed upon.

Location
The property is wonderfully located to allow guests access to some of the most beautiful spots in Tuscany. Just a 40-minute drive from the hilltop town of San Gimignano, 1 hour and 5 minutes from the centre of Florence and 1 hour from Siena, guests will be spoiled for choice as to where to visit during their stay.

There are many local restaurants offering delicious local cuisine and food shopping is easy, with Castelfiorentino a 12-minute drive away. Castelfiorentino’s Saturday market will inspire guests to cook with the best local ingredients, sold directly from the farms. The market is divided into two sections: Homewares and clothing, then food where you can buy everything from meat and cheese to the freshest fruit and vegetables.

For a fashionable shopping experience, The Mall Firenze in Leccio (1 hour and 10 minutes drive) offers a tempting range of designer outlet stores. Here you will find Fendi, Etro, Gucci and many more labels at reduced prices.

More active guests can head to the tennis courts in Castelfiorentino (12 minutes) and the golf course at FootGolf, San Miniato (20 minutes)

Florence’s international airport is just a 40-minute drive from the property and Pisa airport is only 45 minutes away by car.
