This semi-detached house has a kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, a dining room with seating for 10 guests, a sitting room with a TV, and a first-floor snug. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with en-suite shower room, a ground-floor king-size with en-suite shower room, a family room with king-size, single and en-suite shower room, a king-size, and a single with en-suite shower room, along with a bathroom. Outside, there is a garden with furniture and barbecue, and off-road parking for three cars. Within 0.1 miles, there is a shop, and within 0.2, a pub. Smoking is not allowed. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Note: Property attached to the owner's home. A walk on the field, location of the last major conflict fought on British soil, is a heartbreaking remembrance of the clansmen who died. Inverness contains museums, an art gallery, theatre, leisure facilities, shopping, bars, and restaurants. The River Ness and Moray Firth are home to a variety of wildlife and marine life, including red kites and dolphins, which can be seen from the shore or on harbour tours.

The home is lovely and a short walk away from the downtown area of Inverness. The home is large, perfectly furnished and it was immaculate.I texted back and forth with the owner several times regarding hiking and shopping in the area and she was very responsive and very helpful.I would absolutely stay in this home again

We stayed with 7 adults for 2 nights. Ample space and all rooms have en suites, which was very nice. The house is in a perfect location, less than 5 minute walk to heart of Inverness. The host is excellent, very easy communication and able to answer any question.

My family and I cannot say enough about this beautiful, well-appointed and comfortable property in the heart of Inverness. The fact that each bedroom had its own shower room made getting ready in the mornings a breeze. Every detail in the sitting and dining rooms had been attended to, such as individual throws for everyone as we gathered to chat or watch TV. The hosts were extremely friendly, hospitable and easy to reach as they live in an attached home just behind the rental property. There was also a Spar convenience store across the street for easy access to some essentials. Overall, we highly recommend Ballenreich for a comfortable and memorable stay in Inverness.

Wonderful Property

This place is fantastic. Close to town but also a place to park a car. Lots of space and bathrooms. Worked out really well for our big family. Maureen was excellent to communicate with. Iā€™d absolutely stay here again.

Great cottage

Six of us stayed here - we were greeted by the lovely owner who was warm and welcoming. She gave us an overview of the property, advice on the area and then gave us our privacy. The place was pristine, the beds were comfortable and it was nice to be able to spread out a bit. The location was also excellent - walkable to downtown Inverness and sites of interest as well as to the local grocery store. Would stay there again if ever in the area.

Great Property

We had a lovely time at this property. It was a blessing to have a bathroom for each of the bedrooms when traveling with many adults. It was clean and very well appointed. Each room with a theme was very thoughtful. The kitchen and dining areas were large as well as the seating area in the house. I love that lap blankets were provided for the seating area-we use them all the time while watching TV. Our host was amazing and gave us pointers on what to see and how to navigate Inverness. The location could not have been better. The store across the street provided easy access for daily supplies and access to the city center. On site parking was a complete bonus and the neighborhood as quiet. I would highly recommend this property

Loved it !

Our group was six adults. The house was roomy enough for all of us and we'll equipped. Very close walk to the city center and restaurants. Good parking for the van we rented. The owner was easy to communicate with. Overall great experience.

Very clean rental

Our stay at this property was amazing. Maureen was so sweet and accommodating - she made my entire family feel welcomed. The house was absolutely spotless, the cleanest most organized rental we have stayed in. Next time we are in Inverness we will be staying at this property. It is walking distance to downtown.

Clean and Comfortable with Parking

This is probably the cleanest property I have ever rented in all my travels. It was full of all the necessary comforts and thoughtful touches. The parking fit our 9 passenger van with ease. Grocery stores are easy to access as well as the city center, Loch Ness and Speyside.

A palace!

Did not expect bathrooms in every room! This is good but just for a large family, but for any large group. The walk to the town center is short and pleasant. Nearby cleaners do drop off laundry service. The kitchen, diving room, and living room are ample.

Perfect home base in Inverness for our group of 6

Our family of 4 plus 2 more adult relatives enjoyed our time in Inverness as much as our easy day trips into the Highlands from there. This is despite the car trouble we had ā€” because Andy and Maureen went above and beyond to help us get it sorted. Many, many thanks for being such gracious hosts and good neighbors! This is a lovely, newly refurbished and meticulously cared for property in a quiet part of town (but just 5-10 minutes walk into all the action across the river). Everyone had a clean, functional bathroom of their own. We took advantage of the table and chairs in the back garden to play cards under the Summer solstice night sky. We also used the nice laundromat just around the corner and the convenience store across the street. All the people we met were so kind and fun. Book dinner in advance at the Mustard Seed (or itā€™s sister restaurant Kitchen) and catch some live music at Hootananny. Donā€™t miss walking up the river to the Ness Islands! We will always smile when we think of Inverness!

Perfect spot in the heart of Inverness

This is a fantastic property, within walking distance of the town centre. Immaculately presented, with most bedrooms having their own ensuite, and a generously large living area, dining area and well equipped kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and wish we could have stayed longer, as Inverness has so much more to offer than we had the opportunity to see. This is a fantastic place to stay. Highly recommended
