Nice house but bad air quality in bedroom and main bathroom downstairs.

Nice design and colors in the house. The air was not fresh in the downstairs bedroom and especially the main bathroom. These rooms didn’t receive any sun and may have had some mold. So it got in my chest and I had fever and cough the last few days. I would recommend keeping the bathroom fan on all the time, to clean the ceiling and walls in the bathroom. You can also spray diluted white vinegar on ceiling/walls to keep away mold.

Thank you very much for your review. The weather was not favourable during your stay which may explain the high humidity. As Madeira is an island the humidity of the air is usually high. However the house have air conditioning and you could use dry modeheating mode to keep the air dry and maintain the house comfortable. We are sorry that you didn't ask for advice if you were not comfortable.
