The living areas in the property consist of an open-plan kitchen equipped with electric double oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and a dishwasher, a dining area with seating for six people, and a sitting area with Smart TV and electric fire. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with Smart TV and en-suite shower room, a twin and a child’s bunk bed, along with a bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed front decking with furniture, as well as off-road parking for two cars. Within 0.5 miles you will find a shop, within 0.4 miles, a pub and within 0.1 miles, the lake and please note that this is a pet-free and a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Lakeside 1 is a delightful abode from which to enjoy a memorable retreat in Cumbria. Windermere Lake Cruises in Bowness offers a choice of boat cruises and boat rental options to Brockhole, Ambleside, and Lakeside (at the southern end of the lake where the Lakeside Aquarium and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway are situated). The Old Laundry Theatre and the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction are separated by 1.5 kilometres. It takes 30 minutes to walk to Orrest Head to take in the breathtaking vista of far-reaching views over the lake and nearby fells, which served as the inspiration for Alfred Wainwright to create his series of renowned guidebooks. The historic villages of Grasmere, Ambleside, and Troutbeck are only a short drive away, while Brockhole, which provides high wire tree top activities, is three miles away.
