Détendez-vous et détendez-vous dans ce magnifique lodge boisé. Il a toutes les commodités nécessaires pour une famille de 4 personnes. Le lodge est équipé de toutes les commodités modernes, y compris le parking gratuit WiFi, lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, 3 TV et DVD dans la chambre des maîtres.
Les pauses préférentielles sont en milieu de semaine, week-end et location à la semaine mais nous sommes flexibles et le prix comprend le linge, les serviettes, le gaz, l'électricité et l'eau. Les passes de loisirs sont disponibles et payés localement au parc à 15 £ pour jusqu'à 7 nuits pour toute la fête pour profiter de l'utilisation des installations sur place qui comprennent une piscine intérieure chauffée, sauna, hammam, jacuzzi et salle de gym, il y a aussi un bar , un restaurant et une boutique sur place avec une aire de jeux pour enfants, le tout à quelques pas du lodge. We had a fantastic time, the cabin was neat, clean and very well kept. The facilities at the park was fair, with not much to do for the kids. We will definitely book with the host again.

Lodge was fantastic for us and our family. Great location base for us to explore the lakes. Louise was really helpful and attentive in the build up to our stay. Would definitely recommend. The only slight downside (and it is slight) was we hadn’t quite realised the set up in terms of booking the facilities on the site as all were booked by the time we got there. In order to use the pool, you’d need to have booked way in advance but that was on us. Great place, great hosts and great location.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful weekend at this stunning lodge in White Cross Bay and we honestly couldn’t have asked for more. The lodge itself is absolutely beautiful — spacious, luxurious, and finished to such a high standard. The photos really don’t do it justice. It feels even more impressive in person.Everything was spotless, cosy, and perfectly set up for a relaxing family stay. We had grandparents, parents, and a child with us, and it suited everyone perfectly.Communication with the owner was brilliant from start to finish. All the information was clear, simple, and easy to follow, which made the whole experience completely stress‑free.We’ve stayed in the Lakes many times, but this lodge is truly something special. We’d go back in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay here in the Lake District! The property is clean, updated, and we loved that each bedroom had their own bathroom. It was so comfortable for our family. Highly recommend!

Lovely property in a quiet location in the holiday park. We enjoyed paddling on the lake (with our own kayak and paddle board). Disappointed by the swimming pool, which was prohibitively expensive if you are only staying for a few days.

Wonderful property!

The house was very clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The outdoor space was great with plenty of seating and nice views. The owner was very helpful, kind and quick to respond. My family and I had a wonderful time here!

Lovely lodge stay in Windermere!

A beautiful lodge that was very clean and in a gorgeous setting. I was worried the lodge would be small for seven of us but the sofa and living area was very spacious and there was plenty of room. The addition of an en-suite in every bedroom was also lovely! Would definitely stay here again!

New Year away

Finding the property was easy from the information we were provided. The lodge was warm and cozy, just what we needed with the weather being so bad. The wine cooler was excellent! Just what we needed for New Year's Eve celebrations. The beds were very comfortable.

We had the most amazing weekend celebrating my husbands 40th birthday. Louise went above and beyond and had the lodge decorated for us arriving. Everything was perfect and we have already booked to return next summer.

Fabulous Lodge

Super clean, very well equipped, comfortable and spacious lodge in one of the quieter areas of the park. Comfortable beds and lovely shower rooms. We had one slight problem on out first day but sorted by the host in less than half an hour. Couldn't fault the lodge and surroundings - the only down-side of our week was the internet that kept dipping out which was a bit annoying but, all in all, a super stay.

Amazing Adventure

We were a group of 6 friends visiting the Lake District. This was an amazing property. It was as described. Super neat and clean. The owners were also fabulous and responded to all our questions and were super helpful with places to eat in the area. Excellent Lodge

A fabulous lodge on a fantastic park. Stayed for 4 nights over New Year and had a wonderful time. The lodge is top class & furnished to a very high standard, it's like home from home & has all the mod cons & amenities that you need. Whitecross Bay itself is a delightful site set in beautiful & tranquil surroundings. There's a club house, swimming pool, restaurant & gym and you're only a mile or so either side of Ambleside & Bowness so there's always plenty going on to keep the whole family entertained. Can highly recommend & would definitely return.

Fantastic Christmas in a fantastic lodge

We stayed in Sunny Bank Lodge for Christmas with our two small children. It was the first time spending christmas away. We couldn’t have made a better choice, we had the best week staying in the beautiful setting of White Cross Bay. Sunny Bank is a fantastic lodge. Luxurious, modern and well equipped with everything you need (even for Christmas Dinner!). It was a very comfortable stay in this cosy lodge. We would highly recommend a stay here. We would come back to Sunny Bank.

Lovely Lodge, I can’t fault any thing, is a popper home from home, very well equipped with a lot of extras. The property it self is very modern and lovely decorated. But the things we didn’t expected made our stay even better. Was a lot of kid movies (DVD) to choose my daughter loved, a good option of games/puzzle, fully equipped kitchen a mean fully, umbrellas available. It is a 6 stars Lodge.

Great location for visiting the area

Stayed with family for 3 nights. The lodge is lovely, was clean and ideal to have the 3 en-suite bathrooms.Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side so we didn’t get much use of the deck area but would’ve been lovely had the sun come out. One of the showers kept dripping but it didn’t bother us as the sound of the rain drowned it out and when you closed the door to the bathroom we didn’t hear it. There were no urgent issues to be resolved. The amenities are great for kids and location is great for visiting nearby Windermere and Ambleside. The Marina is nice but you can’t swim in it.Guests can only use the pool facilities at set times in the afternoon which unfortunately didn’t suit since we were out at the times it was available. It was handy to have the restaurant on site and be able to get take away from there delivered to the lodge too.I’d definitely recommend staying especially for families as there’s enough to keep kids entertained and quiet enough for the adults to enjoy some peace too! Nearby Brockhole on Windermere is fantastic for a day out - lots for the kids to do, boat hire, tree top fun, archery, swimming in the lake - we visited on our last day after checking out when the sun finally came out and wished we could’ve had another full day to make the most of that especially as it was only a 10-15 min walk from the holiday park.

Fantastic

We are just home from Sunny Bank lodge. All I can say is it was perfect. Decorated to a high standard and everything you need is there. Louise was brilliant and it’s a credit to her. She is very good at communicating quickly so you’re not waiting long for any queries to be answered. Its location is about 2 min walk from the reception/pub/ shop/ play area and swimming pool so you’re not going to get lost. The introductions given were easy to follow when checking in so there will be no problems. Sadly we had rain almost every day but we still got out and about and the site is a few miles drive to Windermere where there is lots to do for all ages. The decking area loops round the lodge so you’d be getting the sun most of the day (if you’re lucky with the weather) and there are three different seating areas to relax in. Highly recommend a stay here and you will not regret it. We will certainly be back and we traveled from Northern Ireland. Worth the 12 hour round trip!!

I live in north of England with my husband and 2 teenage children. We both work and enjoy holidaying whenever we can either abroad or in this country. With owning Sunny Bank Lodge it means we can get away at short notice and enjoy the many attractions that the beautiful Lake District has to offer.

We decided to buy this lodge on White Cross Bay as we live in the Lake District but never holiday in the area. Now with having Sunny Bank Lodge when it's not let out we can just jump in the car and be there within 20 minutes to enjoy the peace and tranquillity that the lodge has to offer as well as having the Lake District literally on the door step.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

White Cross Bay holiday Park is nestled between Windermere and Ambleside and only 2 miles away from Windermere train station. When arriving at White Cross Bay you will be greeted by the friendly staff at reception where they will hand you the keys to Sunny Bank Lodge, give you a map of the holiday park and where the lodge is on site. When approaching the lodge you will see there is plenty of parking for upto 3/4 vehicles, with a large decking area with plenty of seating for those alfresco evenings. The lodge will have been fully cleaned with fresh linen and towels provided. On site there is a bar, restaurant small shop, arcade and leisure facilities which includes gym, pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. (Leisure passes can be bought at reception if required at a cost of £15 for up to 7 nights for your whole party for the duration of your break).
