A great vacation here at Desiree's condo apt.

We had a wonderful time at Desiree's condo apt. The apartment was so fresh and clean. It was perfect for the 2 of us seniors. We enjoyed the pool every day and that was so private. Desiree brought us extra keys so we were able to leave any valuables in the condo-passports , $$$$$etc. We were on the 4th. floor and it was so quiet and we were able to get lots of exercise walking the 3 floors. The shower or sink leaks and we had to mop it up several times. I would suggest getting some. new pillows in the master bedroom. We love watching CNN and movies on the huge flat screen T.V. in the master bedroom. This is a 2 bedroom apt. and very adaquate for 2. I would suggest getting a taxi at the airport to drive and pick you up to go to the apt. then arrange for a taxi to take you back to the airport. We found that it costs 200 pesos to go 1 way. We were overcharged 300 pesos to get us to the apt. and the driver didn't speak any English and didn't understand when we asked hime to stop at a grocery store. It was 10 p.m and we were very hungry and tired. We then went for a walk and found a grocery store and had a poor Chinese snack. The taxis are very inexpensive and most drivers speak good English. We didn't cook any meals in. however there's a kitchen fully stocked. We ate the most delicious fresh fruits for breatfast-so inexpensive. I highly recommend BBVA restaurant in the hotel for the best fresh salads and soups. The serve everything from fresh fish-maui maui to tilapia. I chose the salad that was so inexpensive and fresh avacadoes . I couldn't everything so our waiter put it in a container that i was able to eat the next day. Another great restaurant is Grillo Marino for fresh well prepared fish. All in all, I highly recommend this apt for seniors who are in good health. The apt. has central air and huge ceiling fans in the living room dining room and master bedroom. Get your $$$$$$ changed to pesos from Monday - Friday at any local Mexican bank.All the banks are closed on Sat. and Sunday. Pack lightly because the weather is very hot. I wore shorts and a loose top every day- no dresses that I took and didn't wear.

Very nice basic accomodation...the pool was very nice and kept very clean!
