The Lookout, seafront, beachfront, stunning views

Refurbished cozy top floor attic flat (2nd floor), with stunning sea views overlooking Kames Bay beach, Millport town and Arran in the background. Located on Marine Parade, away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre. One bedroom with a double bed, and a double sofa bed in the lounge/kitchen. Bathroom with shower & WC. Smart TV with Freesat and Netflix subscription. WIFI. Towels and all linens supplied, kitchen essentials and electricity included.
The space
The living room is equipped with a Smart TV with Freesat, and a Netflix subscription. There is seating for 4 people, and a folding dining table is placed at the window so that you can enjoy your breakfast or dinner while enjoying the spectacular sea views. The sofa is also a double bed.

The kitchen area (within the living room) has a hob, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and small fridge/freezer. All kitchen essentials are provided.

The bedroom has a full sized double bed, underbed storage, hanging space for clothes, chest of drawers, wash hand basin with mirror, bedside tables with lamps that are also USB chargers. Several sockets with USB charging ports are also scattered throughout the property.

Bathroom with shower, wash hand basin and WC. Toiletries are provided.

WIFI available throughout the property. Storage heaters for heating, they are also convector heaters for heating on demand.

Could sleep 4 people, but better suited to 3, or perfect for a couple.
Guest access
Patio dedicated to guests of the Lookout in the back garden. Patio with dining set, reclining chairs, charcoal BBQ and fire pit.

Parking on the road in front of the property, usually no problem with parking spaces.

Bus stop near to the property.

Shared drying green for hanging up beach towels or wet suits !

Self check-in/check-out via keys in lockbox.

Secure shed available for bicyles. Secure shed can also be used for luggage storage on the day of check-in/check-out.

The location of this top floor flat was ideal and the view amazing! It had everything you would need for a relaxing break. Very comfortable. Ailsa was very helpful and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

My wife and I come to Millport every year. We love staying at the Look Out flat as it has the best views over the bays, small islands and the majestic Isle of Arran.

Doon the watter

Many happy childhood memories of a day in Millport when holidaying in Largs. Very pleasant situation at Kames Bay, further from the town, but handy for a dip in the sea. 38 steps up a spiral staircase to the flat, so travel light!, but a stunning view over the Bay to the Arran mountains. A cosy little flat with all the necessities for a quiet break

Fits the bill

Don't be put off any the tired exterior of Grove House. The apartment is well presented, well equipped though you must be prepared to climb 38 steps to get to this attic location. The upside is breathtaking views of the sea. Low star for communication is that although owner lives in ground floor there is no attempt to make personal contact. Odd.

3rd visit here. We made good use of the patio guest area due to the heatwave. A lovely peaceful place to sit with the coffee and admire the well kept garden The beautiful Kames Bay beach is a stones throw away, and a holiday in Millport is not compete without a paddle !

I grew up in Millport, then moved away for University in my younger years, worked in the IT industry for nearly 30 years which latterly allowed me to move back to Millport and work from home. More recently been a student again, studying a Masters degree from home.
