The rental has a great location with walking distance to all the sights. The beds were comfortable and the AC was a welcome relief to the heat. There was a musty smell throughout and the backup comforters were not cleaned, thus the 4 stars instead of 5.

The apartment was a delight! Very nice design details. Large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms! Great location! Quick response when needed. Very helpful! Accommodations were quite comfortable!

Property was lovely and so convenient located to transit and main attractions and of course great food. We were not given exact address until right before arrival as it appeared someone else or a service was managing the apt. We were allowed to drop off our luggage early which was great.

Good location. No living room, just a kitchen table with which to communicate with others. Hard to flush one of the toilets. Would have been nice to have lights outside at night to be able to see when coming back. Bedrooms quite large and roomy.

Our family had a wonderful stay here recently - the apartment is in a great central location and communication with property management was excellent (Ilaria even met us at the train station and helped direct the cab to the location)! We had plenty of space for the four of us and enjoyed the central kitchen space. The only drawback (for a lighter sleeper like myself) was that the larger bedroom facing the alley picked up a lot of noise into the early morning hours - however earplugs on the second night took care of this easily. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing location

The location cannot be beat!! So nice to have air conditioning after not having any in Paris. Amazing restaurants and sight seeing all within walking distance.

We loved our Home Base for the week. It was close to all the sights and we also had great restaurants all around us. There is even a grocery store next door to stock the kitchen. Everything we needed for the week. The property managers were great to deal with too. It was really nice to have a washer & dryer so we could pack light.

This property is excellent, completely as described. Its a great location for many sights. The Palace, Bobili Gardens, the cathedral, the river and great shopping are all no more than 10-15 mins walk away. The train station is only 20 mins walk. Our check in host, Martina was so helpful. The property also has a great neighbour with a really friendly cat. Air conditioning was working well which is needed in the July heat, comfortable beds and the shower is very good and powerful. If you want a great property to use as a base in Florence in a good location then you will not be disappointed if you book here. One thing that might be helpful, if you want to walk up the dome of the cathedral you need to book this several weeks in advance. We could not do it but we climbed the tower instead which had the same external views of course. We also did a fun pasta making evening in De Bardi restaurant which I recommend. Lorenzo our host was fantastic and we had a lot of fun!

The host gave very clear instructions…including a video which made the check in super easy! The location was amazing and we were able to walk to all the major attractions. The air conditioner worked great and we were able to do a few loads of laundry during our stay. Plus the apartment was so cute! It was perfect for a family of four with 2 teens who did not want to share a bed or listen to dad snoring. The beds were comfortable and the 2 bathrooms made this our favorite stay while traveling through Italy. Thank you for an incredible visit!

Great location for touring in Florence

This is a great location for touring and sightseeing in Florence. We found it to be quiet in the evenings and was comfortable to sleep. The AC kept the property cool during the warm days. The host was very responsive but we really didn’t need to interact except on day of arrival and departure. Also, there is a grocery store very close to the apartment should you desire to purchase any food or drink during your stay.

We paid the amount listed and then were charged an additional cleaning fee in cash upon arrival. I understand the city taxes, but was disappointed by this. Took most of our cash. The apartment was nice in a nice location.

Great location. Paying city tax in cash was a bit strange but everything else was great. Place was perfect location for our family of four. Host asked for a cleaning fee but we had already paid VRBO for that fee. Communication with the host was very good.

What a great apartment on Corso dei Tortini

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay in this lovely freshly remodeled apartment. It was walking distance to everything and there is a grocery store right downstairs. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, cooking utensils. WiFi was great. It does get a bit noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. We would definitely rent this again.

Italy 2024

We stayed in Florence the latter part of May 2024 for 4 nights. The apartment was perfectly located for exploring the beautiful city of Florence. Located mere minutes from the Uffizi Gallery, the Arno and Ponte Vecchio as well minutes walking distance from the Duomo and just a 20 minute walk from the train station should you chose. We received some excellent recommendations for dining from our hosts, however the best meal we’ve ever experienced in all of Italy was almost directly across the street at Da Fogioli. Whether you choose this apartment or another in Florence please do yourself a favor and plan at least one meal at Fagioli, you won’t be disappointed. Of course they were also recommended by our hosts. Another truly enjoyable visit to Florence due to very pleasant accommodation and cultural experiences.

Lots of space but noisy

Overall a beautiful apartment with tons of space. Both bathrooms, while small, were highly functional and there was no shortage of hot water. Large American-sized refrigerator and plenty of room for four around the kitchen table. A couple of minuses: the washer worked fine but the dryer function needed three or four cycles before the clothes were actually dry; and the bedroom that looks onto Corso dei Tintori was incredibly noisy, as though the window were open all the time (it was not). Voices from the street, traffic and early morning delivery trucks sounded like they were in the room with us. Overall I recommend it but bring heavy-duty earplugs!

Amazing apartment but …

Mmmm propolis our time Mmmm this one was our favorite. Two full bathrooms, large tv in one bedroom and smaller Ken in the other. Yes only issue was that the windows were not thick/double panes and we didn’t get a good night sleep since we slept in the room facing the street. Between the night life bodies, motorcycles, and the morning delivery tricks. If we slept in the other bedroom things would be probably done. As much as I loved the apartment I wouldn’t stay there due to street noise unless the windows were replaced.
