I don't know how with the Perry gentlemen they can find the courage to say these things, after I have made myself available to them in every possible and imaginable way. Either they did not read the announcement correctly, or they just tried with absurd pretexts to recover the money spent, since they even applied for a refund, which VRBO naturally refused. The only real things they wrote are: 1. Unfortunately, there is no hot water only in the kitchen due to problems with the pipes, but there is a comfortable and large dishwasher; 2. It is not recommended to drink tap water, as it is tank water and not direct water, as indeed in all the houses in the district and in Palermo !! For the rest, there is nothing true. The house I rent is not shared, the whole villa is a two-family villa divided into two floors, as explained in detail in the ad (which I don't think they have read), so in the apartment below mine, exclusively in the summer months and occasionally on weekends, my uncle may be there with his family or his guests. But the houses are absolutely autonomous and independent, the only common areas are the parking lot, the garden and the beach. In fact, no one else has ever complained !!! The barbecue is external, in masonry and does not have a cover, so it is possible that leaves will arrive with the wind or that there may be ash or coal left, but the cooking grates are all inside, in the kitchen, hanging and clean ... the grill that remains on the outside is only for support, but maybe they didn't hear or understand me when I explained it. As for transport, ease of travel and distances from restaurants and supermarkets, I would like to be able to attach the dozens of messages that a year before coming and confirming the rent they sent me and to which I replied in a more than detailed and perhaps exaggerated way. , on the surroundings of the house, on the meters that separated, restaurants, supermarket, station etc ... I always recommend renting a car to reach the villa and move around, as you are not in an urban center, but they insisted to be able to do so and I then proceeded to get them a private taxi to take them to the villa from the airport with a preferential rate and I even personally accompanied the gentlemen to do the shopping as soon as they arrived, waiting for them to do their purchases without haste and then bring them back to home . I looked for and found a driver in the area who made himself available for every slightest movement and who responded to their every call, sometimes personally translating their requests. I always answered their calls with courtesy and speed, as all the other reviews present can testify. I even tried to contact them at the end of their stay to send them back some clothes they had forgotten, but they didn't even bother to reply to my messages. Their words hurt me a lot, precisely because I do everything to make the stays in my home special and I'm sure I have nothing to reproach myself with.
