Beautiful Florence

This location was ideal for our stay in Florence. We were close enough to the city center to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We were tucked into a residential area that gave us the peace and quiet at the end of the day. I definitely recommend this property! Ginevra was very helpful on our arrival and answered all questions we had. Can’t wait to come back!

Genevieve is the most amazing owner we have ever encountered. Beautiful quiet neighborhood, super comfy big beds, amazing communications with our hostess. She even booked me a massage. We would highly recommend anyone staying with this property and enjoying a relaxing stay in Florence. 5 stars

Lovely Oltrana house

My niece and I had a wonderful stay. Ginerva met us at checkin and reviewed all pertinent info. We were also provided with restaurant recommendations-a few of which we tried and enjoyed. The house was clean, the beds comfortable and the quiet neighborhood was just what was needed after a busy day. We walked everywhere and nothing we visited was more than a 20 minute walk. All and all a most wonderful stay.

Ginevra welcomed us as family

First the pictures don’t do it justice. It was incredible lovely spotless house. We were celebrating a bday and our host greeted us with balloons - wine and dessert. We felt at home and we enjoyed our stay in Florence. Grazie !!

Florentine Dream

We have been travelling the world for over 2 years now & my husband & adult son agreed this was the BEST ‘home away from home’ stay we've found so far!! Its simply gorgeous, was immaculately clean, designed with thought & intention and Ginevra even left treats for us!! Adored the pink couches, green bathroom and beautiful books!! The apartment is located in a lovely leafy suburb just out of town & has loads of cute cafes nearby!! I would highly recommend staying here!!

Beautiful space and ideally located to see the very best of Florence!

After a stressful flight cancellation we arrived on a Monday afternoon and all of our stress instantly disappeared when we arrived. The house is beautifully decorated and very cosy. It’s very clean and we felt really comfortable and safe. Ginevra was so welcoming and pointed out places for us to visit and we enjoyed all of her recommendations. The house is ideally located and within walking distance to lots of great places and using taxi apps Ginevra recommended to call cabs when we needed was easy and not too expensive. We will definitely be returning one day and we would recommend her to anyone wanting to visit Florence.

An art oasis in the heart of Florence

Amazing from start to finish. Host greated us with bottle of wine and perfect referral to an estate winery. Owned by their family. Walking distance to grocery, museums, shopping. All you could want in a clean luxurious Florence rental. 2 bedrooms gave us plenty of room. We even cooked in one night in the well appointed kitchen. Wish I could return next week.

Perfect place to stay

A most wonderful place to stay - spacious, clean, beautiful house within easy reach of main attractions in Florence but it a lovely quiet area of the city. Also close to some excellent restaurants. Birds singing & trees around. A treasure library of art books available to peruse is a most exceptional delight. Lovely curtains & furnishings. Genivere welcomed us admirably with a lot of thoughtfulness & care . Highly recommended. Everything in the house worked perfectly and we were very comfortable, would definitely return.

Porta Romana apartment

We loved everything about the place- number of bedrooms and bathrooms, kitchen, neighborhood, quietness- but it was just a little bit far from the center of town. So if you want to go back to the apartment and drop something off and freshen up in the middle of the day and then come back in, it was a little bit far. The reviews didn’t say that.

A Lovely Experience

Ginevra is a most welcoming and gracious host. My husband and I were very comfortable in her beautiful property. We would happily stay there again. It is in the Porta Romana neighborhood, about a 15-18 min. walk to the Ponte Vecchio. Very convenient area with character and beauty. Very close to the top end of the Boboli Gardens. Nice to be a little bit away from the dense crowds in the very center of Florence. An added bonus is the beautiful art book library. Ginevra always communicated back to us quickly, gave excellent suggestions about where to eat and shop locally and is very kind. All in all a good time away in beautiful surroundings. Thank you Ginevra!

Stay here if travelling to Florence!

We have been lucky enough to do a lot of travelling over the past 20 years. Without question, Ginevra was the most attentive and accommodating host we have ever been lucky enough to stay with. She was extremely attentive to our needs and questions and so quick to respond. She met us, personally, at check in and her warmth made us feel like we were staying with an old friend. The location of the home was perfect. We are in our late 50’s and found the walking to the city sites easy. We were happy to return to our quiet home away from home, located on a beautiful street, at the end of the day. Everything you need is within a few minutes walk
restaurants, pharmacy, coffee shops, grocery store and a fresh vegetable and fruit market at the end of the street. The house is comfortable and spotless! Lovely beds, linens, and even converters for our Canadian phones. She thought of everything! Treat yourself to this location and beautiful home. Pictures don’t do it justice!
