Beautiful Cabin Tucked in the Woods

Very clean when we arrived, everything was setup well had lots of open space to unpack and relax. Retained heat very temperature was wonderful throughout the night will definitely visit again.

Garden of Delights!

We were first greeted by many hummingbirds as we pulled into the driveway! Bright succulent garden fills the front yard. Cabin is clean and efficient use of space for two. There is a ladder to a loft with an additional single bed but we did not use it - meant for a much younger person! Spacious deck outside overlooking the Russian River. Cozy fireplace indoors for cool mornings. We enjoyed our stay!

An adorable retreat in the hills above Jenner. Small, but everything you need with a gorgeous fenced yard, nicely planted, and a great hot tub. Hosts are very easy to work with. I, my husband and our two dogs loved it!

Peaceful Jenner getaway

We had a wonderful time at the Haven, playing board games, sitting in front of the fire, and having lunch at Cafe Aquatica. Very quiet and nature-filled surroundings. Note that there is no separate bedroom, so we decided to go just the two of us and leave the dog at home!

A wonderful getaway

My wife and I stayed at the haven for four nights for our fifth year wedding anniversary. The place was so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The house was equipped with everything we could possibly need and very comfortable. The deck had views of the Russian River and a sliver of ocean. Check in was easy as can be. We will definitely be staying here again in the future. Highly recommended!

Perfect little Paradise

We had a wonderful stay at the Haven. The house was cozy. The outdoors was breath taking. We loved all the different plants and succulents.Great views from the deck. The beach was close. We had perfect weather. We went kayaking. Which was right down the hill. Cafe Aquatica was great! We liked the fenced yard for our dog. We would love to go back. Thank you!

The Haven

Nice property with great views. Main room modest but entirely adequate. Kitchen comfortable for one cook. Spacious deck with seating everywhere. Bed comfortable. Bathroom and shower well small is the word here. Overall great time with no nosy neighbors clean and quiet. Mark and Brenda

Quails and Hummingbirds

Cozy and clean with everything you need. We loved all the quails and watching the hummers from the deck while watching the fog roll in. Serene and quiet. Our dog loved it, except for the neighbor with the German Shepherd which tried to leap the deck gate before he was finally retrieved. Can’t blame our Hosts for that! All in all we were very happy with The Haven. You should give it a try!

Cute cabin

Cute cabin, older but well maintained. Comfortable and nice furnishings. No hair dryer despite being on the list of amenities. Property mgr was responsive to email though they said to just assume the previous renters took it. Suggest they add some DVD’s, books, games. Surprised there wasn’t any. Also there is no WiFi so a list of suggestions, local info, brochures/maps would be super helpful. Adds a personal touch at other places I’ve stayed.

Total Privacy!

Can’t possibly come back soon enough! That should tell you exactly what we thought of this beautiful, private rustic place. The bed was super comfy. We enjoyed building fires in the Swedish fireplace. The kitchen contained all the conveniences of home. Love the wrap around deck and enjoyed feeding the birds. The hot tub was a highlight of the trip not to mention, you are close to the ocean and the river. Enjoyed the mornings with the fog rolling in and out. We enjoyed our coastal trips to Guerneville, which is 30 minutes away, where there is a Safeway and to Bodega Bay, which is 20 minutes away. We loved the little a town of Duncan Mills, which had the most wonderful, bakery and gift shops. Did I mention gazing at the stars from our bedroom skylight?

Kitchen was well equipped and very clean. The dish design was thought fully chosen, and there were plenty of mugs, bowls and nice glassware. Condiments were available and coffee. Brita filter for water. Loved the whole entire cabin decor.. cozy and comfortable. Plenty of wood for the fireplace, too. Hot tub was super clean and restful. I loved the fluffy towels and robes. The hosts are very good at making you feel pampered. And the garden was beautiful

 nice for our dog. We came away very rested, and will be back at some point!

Weekend in heaven (Haven)

A much needed (and overdue!) getaway in Jenner. Thank you for the perfect cabin! Gorgeous view of the sea in a bucolic and serene hillside. Forgot how much peace Jenner and Bodega Bay gives me. The hot tub was a quencher. Definitely coming back for a visit soon with our sweet girl, Ginger.

Heavenly at The Haven

Went up for a quick birthday weekend retreat. The home is nestled in dense forest with the sounds of the Russian River in earshot. We didn’t see a single person the entire time we were up there. Although modest in size, it has absolutely everything you’ll need. Kitchen was user friendly, with updated appliances. Bed was extra comfortable, with a sunroof looking straight up at the stars at night. The hot tub was luxurious and the fireplace was all ready for us to start a roaring fire to fall asleep to. We knew the minute we walked in that we would be back again. Hosts were so gracious and welcoming. I’m already booking our next trip here!

Beautiful Views and Wonderful Cozy Vibe

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay! We loved the cozy cabin vibe, nice kitchen for cooking, hot tub, and comfortable furniture! We also liked the fact that we could access hiking locally and that we could bring our well-behaved standard farm poodle with us. We’d book again in a heartbeat!

We are Sonoma County locals who love to celebrate living in one of the most spectacular places on the planet. Though we are not able to spend nearly as much time at the coast as we would like to, we are happy to share this little piece of paradise with our guests.

The open space surrounding the house and it's close proximity to the village makes it a very special place to visit--private and convenient.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The most special part of The Haven to us is the spirit/mojo/vibe of the place. The home was designed and built by an architect who had owned this land for many years before building the house as his own retreat, so it was built with an incredible awareness of/sensitivity to the surroundings. It is private, intimate, relaxing, and invigorating.

We love sitting in the hot-tub at night (especially in the rain), and listening to the waves crashing and the stream rushing by. We love having breakfast in the morning and wine and cheese in the afternoon with the hummingbirds.

We love that this is a place that our dog and kids enjoy as much as we do!
