We loved our stay! Even with a large group, the home felt spacious and comfortable, and we never felt crowded. It was the perfect place for everyone to relax and spend time together.

I loved the large screened in porch overlooking the lake and the breeze off the lake. The whole upstairs looked over the lake which was awesome. Everyone also loved the hot tub on the deck.We had a group of 16 and we were all comfortable.

Excellent experience and an amazing holiday getaway for our extended family. The house is beautiful, clean, and there is so much to do. The host is communicative and generous. We hope to return!

Definitely would recommend the sauna, dip in the lake, followed with the shower located in the steamy sauna room.

Family Vacation

Took our adult kids and their kids for 5 days. We made many happy memories, and we highly recommend Leisure Lodge. Home was perfect for us and the lake was too.

Awesome place for a big group!

We had a gathering of a bunch of old high school and college friends, and the place couldn't have been better. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep, activities like paddle boards, Kayaks, games, movies, hot tub, billiards, and more. Perfect place for a large group get-together. The host was also great and made herself available via phone if there were any questions or issues.

Family tradition to go to lake home

It met all are expectations except for the boat launch. It was nice to have kayak and paddle boats. We all like the jacuzzi, movie room, pool table and basket ball hoop. Great for family get togethers.

Great place for lots of people

Our group had lots of space and lots of fun. The house is huge and allowed people the freedom to find their own space when the group got to be too much. The lake was wonderful and communication with the host was easy.

Everything was great, easy to communicate and plenty of space. The only thing I could say for improvement is the hot water situation. For a big group you need to be first in the morning to shower or you probably won’t get any hot water later in the day. I will definitely be back for summer.

This home is awesome.

This house has so many activities to do that you won't get bored. The owner is awesome, always respond in a timely manner. I recommend this house to any group get away.

We held a family get together at the Leisure Lodge with 10 adults and 8 children. Our grandchildren were busy every day with swimming, fishing, boating with the paddle boats and kayaks, watching shows in the theatre, playing basketball and pickle ball, and using the play station. The adults joined, especially for the sauna, and hot tub. The lodge was spacious and mostly well set up for cooking for a large group. That being said, some things were lacking like enough silverware and enough serving bowls. While the house was generally clean, the showers had some mold and at least one of the bedrooms had a problem with ants, including in one of the beds. To reach its full potential, the house needs several thousand dollars of small repairs and replacements. On the repairs side, there are things like the master bedroom air conditioner not working. On the replacement side many of the beds in the downstairs bedrooms should be upgraded. In some ways the property is nicer than it shows in the Vrbo description. The setting is beautiful, and the spaces on the main floor are spacious with wonderful views. In others, the pictures and descriptions are not accurate. For example, there were not as many queen sized beds as described, the soft seating which looked so inviting in the pictures was fairly worn out, and some features like the jacuzzi tub had signs saying, please do not use. We had a wonderful time at the Leisure Lodge. It would be nice to see it upgraded.

We are sorry about the ants, however we did not know about them. It was surprising that you did not tell us since we were texting. The extra large bath tub is not allowed to be used because with the large groups it shorts the whole house of hot water. The ac is typically not allowed to be used, however we did make an exception for your group, as you knew so we did not know it was not working and could not get it addressed in such a short time. We are sorry for the inconviences.

Perfect Christmas Getaway

The place was beautifully decorated for the holiday. There was plenty of rooms and beds for our large group. Plenty of things and activities in the house to keep everyone busy and entertained. Will definitely rent again. :)

New Year vacation

My adult children and 8 grandchildren enjoyed 4 days at this VRBO and enjoyed every minute. The hot tub was fun for everyone. The kids and adults enjoyed all the amenities. We had several movie nights in the theater room. The host was responsive to our questions and so generous allowing us to leave later then the 10 am check out.

Large house on a beautiful lake

Overall this is a good place to stay. Huge home with lots of space to spread out. A number of things were marked broken or unusable in the house but that did not affect our stay much. This would easily be a 5 star with a few updates and repairs.
