We absolutely loved our stay here at blue rock in St Ives! The house was beautiful, comfortable and had everything we could have wanted for a relaxing holiday. We really enjoyed spending time here and it truly felt like a home away from home.The host was absolutely lovely as well, so friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable.The location was perfect for exploring St Ives and beach days with just a 5 minute walks and after days out it was lovely to come back to such a welcoming and comfortable house. We honestly couldn’t fault our stay and were sad to leave!We had such a wonderful time and definitely love to stay here again. Highly recommend!

Such a beautiful home in an ideal location with stunning views of St Ives.Everything about the process of arriving, enjoying the home and departure was seamless. Communication with the host and the housekeeper was superb. The property ideally suited our family of 4 adults and one 3yr old and would have offered further accommodation had we needed it. We would thoroughly recommend this stay.

We spent time at Blue Rock with our daughters, their partners and our grandson. The house is spacious, clean, very well equipped and above all has the most amazing views over Porthminster beach and St Ives. It was very relaxing to sit on the balcony or the upper lounge and soak up the surroundings. Parwin was very helpful and offered lots of useful information for our stay.

Beautiful home in lovely St Ives

This is a very nice home with a gorgeous view of St Ives and the water. The common space on the main floor was large enough for a family of six adults to gather together at mealtime. The large room on the top floor worked well for those that needed a remote workspace.

Beautiful house with amazing views

Beautiful and comfortable house with amazing views of St Ives bay. We saw dolphins, gannets, guillemots and numerous other birds at sea from the windows. It is in a fantastic location, in walking distance of numerous gorgeous beaches and the harbour. We ate out most nights and didn’t eat a less than very good meal.

Christmas Holiday

We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas stay at Blue Rock. The house is beautiful and very well equipped for our party of ten.The location is perfect, with just a short walk to the beach or town centre. The return walk is quite steep, but we soon got used to it.The sea view from property is exceptional and is definitely the highlight of the house. We would definitely love to return in the future.Thank you to Parwin for her instructions and welcome to the property.

This was a beautiful property to come to to recharge ... especially lovely having not been out of our hometown since before the lockdown in March. Lovely warm house with great location and views

Great weeks stay at this property. From the outset all ran smoothly. David and Parwin were very organised. On arrival house was very clean and tidy. Great off road parking. Lovely location and superb views. Great to be able to take the dogs. Shower upstairs was superb. Kitchen well equipped and plenty of TVs. Good WIFI. Planing to definitely visit again.

Lovely house, very well equipped, fantastic views. The outside/garden areas do need work, in general they had not been brushed or cleaned recently.- walking from the decking down to the paved area the last step is broken. - The banana tree needs to be cut back - you have to duck down to get through it. The balcony decking and the loungers needed cleaning.

We visited Blue Rock, when you left on 2nd August, and agree that the garden needed some attention. Unfortunately, our gardener is currently on sick leave and we were surprised to see how quickly some of the plants had grown! All the issues you raised, including the cleaning of the decking and balcony areas, were sorted out on Saturday, apart from the damaged garden step. We will be repairing this as soon as we can.

Amazing views and location

Fabulous house and fantastic views from the kitchen/diner/master bedroom with even more breathtaking views right across St Ives from the lounge on the top floor (even better than the photos!). The house was very clean, beds comfy and decorated to a high specification. The owners were very friendly checking in with us before our stay and making recommendations on where to eat. Convenient and in walking distance to the many beautiful beaches, shops, cafes and restaurants but St Ives is hilly so the walk uphill home keeps you fit after all those lovely Cornish pasties and scones! We had a wonderful stay at Bluerock and loved St Ives and the many places we visited.and hope to return.

A holiday home you won't want to leave !

Blue rock was exactly as described , we were met by the helpful caretaker Paul .All the rooms were immaculate. The top floor sitting room has wonderful views and unlike many rentals the seating is so comfortable . The service from the owners could not be better and they were so helpful regarding our special requirements for my husbands medical condition. Would recommend Blue rock rental and St Ives as a great holiday destination. We all look forward to a return visit !

This place was AMAZING! We loved everything from each floor and the space, the view was incredible. We loved family dinners outside. The parking right outside of the house. The location to multiple beaches/the town was so convenient. Our hosts were the best people we could of ever asked for. They were so kind and amazing to us and left us some goodies! great location (if you can handle a hill)

a bit surprised one of the two bathrooms was en suite...great for us two but tuff on the other 5 (unless we were feeling generous) great lounge with great view. well equipped kitchen...even a bluetooth speaker. great, quiet location in st ives as long as you can handle a climb back up. 5 mins to start of shops. overall very good place for a family holiday

Parwin & David purchased Blue Rock in 2012. Parwin is a school teacher and was born in the Punjab and David is a Chartered Surveyor and was born down the Road in St Columb Major.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

David's dream has always been to own a property close to a great surfing beach and with spectacular sea views. Parwin, on the other hand, is a self-confessed chatter box who enjoys the arts and likes having lots of people around her.

They started searching for a holiday home in June 2012 but got off to a slow start as they were both looking for different properties.

Blue Rock is within easy walking distance of the centre of St Ives, overlooks Porthminster beach, the sea and the harbour. It is also close to Porthmeor beach (one of David's favourite surfing beaches) and has great car parking. What more could anyone ask for?
