There's something about Salema that gets under your skin. We first came here as a family many years ago, drawn by its unhurried pace, its sheltered beach and its rare sense of authenticity as a working fishing village that has resisted the overdevelopment found elsewhere on the Algarve. We kept coming back - and eventually, we stopped leaving!
Sol e Mar was born from that deep connection to this place. Named after the sun and sea that define life here, the villa sits just a short walk from the beach along the postcard-pretty Rua dos Pescadores - close enough to feel immersed in the village, yet peaceful enough to feel like your own private retreat.
For us, Salema isn't just a location. It's a feeling. Sol e Mar was designed to help you feel it too.
