Charming townhouse with private pool close to Barcelona

Casa Hellas is an incredibly charming town house with a superb location! The home has an authentic charm, and with capacity for 8 guests, the cozy, yellow house will provide you with the perfect base for an unforgettable holiday.

The holiday home is situated in the very small, cozy and historic village Castellet. We actually had the pleasure of visiting the village this spring (2022) and had a fabulous lunch (menu-del-dia) in the local restaurant, which is 100 meters down the street from Casa Hellas. Both the food and the wine was fantastic, and we highly recommend that you do the same if you decide to spend your holiday in Casa Hellas!

Casa Hellas has a natural park and the beautiful Foix River as its next door neighbour, thus providing you with plenty of hiking opportunities. If you stand on the upper terrace, you can look down on the river, and see the medieval Castle further up the hill. It's really quite something special! On top of that, Casa Hellas is only 12 km. away from the beautiful Costa Daurada beaches in the one direction, and 12 km. away from the fantastic wine district Penedés in the other direction. Last but not least, the house is also in a perfect point of departure for a visit to Barcelona, as the city is only 59 km. away. You can easily get there either by car or by train, as there is a train station only 2 km. away. So to put it short, Casa Hellas has a very unique and pleasant location, with a beautiful view, plenty of opportunities to go hiking, wine tasting, swimming on the beaches and much more!

Casa Hellas has a lovely garden area with a swimming pool where you can cool off, play and swim during the warm Catalan summer days. There is also a BBQ area, and lovely vine covered terrace, perfect for outdoor dining. We imagine spending long summer nights here, embracing the tranquility and enjoying time with friends or family.

Inside Casa Hellas you are greeted by a cozy, spacious and functional environment. The house consists of two floors. The ground floor consists of a large, open common space which includes a large and fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a comfortable living room. The house has aircondition so you can always cool down inside. There is also a shared bathroom on the ground floor, close by the the terrace and the swimming pool. In the center of the room is a beautiful open staircase, which allows the light to enter from both sides of the house and from the skylights in the roof. Upstairs you will find the four bedrooms, which all have ensuite bathrooms. The bedrooms are of quite equal size, two of them facing the small street, and the other two facing the garden area. Two of the bedrooms have twinbeds, the other two double beds.

Every detail in the house is made with care and quality making the standard extraordinary high. The modern kitchen is equipped with any thinkable implement, for instance dishwasher, ceramic hotplates, oven, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster and fridge with freezer, just to mention the most important. The entire house has WIFI-Internet connection free to use.

The owners Quim and Helena are incredibly sweet, and are always ready to help you out with tips and inspiration for your holiday! They are born and raised in the district, and Casa Hellas is an old family house. They know a lot about the history of the area, and also a lot about the wineries in Penedés.
