Betty's Bay is located in the Overberg coast of South Africa's Western Cape province. It's located 96 km from Cape Town beneath the Kogelberg Mountain.
It contains the Harold Porter National Botanical Garden as well as the African penguin colony in the Betty's Bay Marine Protected Area.
Kogelberg Biosphere holds 1600 different plant species.
Betty's Bay has a marine west coast oceanic climate ( Koppen Cfb) wich sees pleasant temperatures.
