Apple Orchard is one of two semi-detached homes, as you arrive there is driveway parking so you can unload by the door. Enter into the kitchen which has everything you will require for your stay. There is a dining room just off from the kitchen which provides seating for all guests to enjoy meals together or some fun games nights. The sitting room offers comfortable and cosy seating and atmosphere, and the general décor of the two properties is nice and light with pops of colour throughout.
Upstairs are three double bedrooms with great views, soft linens and high-quality mattresses, duvets and pillows for a restful night’s sleep. A shower room is also available on the first floor finished to a modern standard. Outside is an outhouse where you can store bikes and other outdoor equipment. The garden is lawned and there is a picnic bench where you can sit peacefully and read a book or just simply bask in the quiet surroundings.
Norwood Park is a unique location, the 18th century Hall sits proudly at the centre of the estate, enveloped amongst landscaped gardens, bountiful orchards and mature woodlands. Our accommodation guests are welcome to take gentle strolls or invigorating hikes through the natural beauty of Norwood Park, enjoying the serenity of the surrounding woodlands and meadows. You are likely to come across our pigs foraging in the fields, our Highland Cattle lazily grazing or other countryside inhabitants such as Storks, Woodpeckers and Deer. For any keen golfers, a golf course is on-site offering an 18-hole and 9-hole course, plus driving range facilities. Pre-booking for these is advised. The golf club bar and lounge provide an option for drinks and food throughout your stay.
Beyond the park, delve into thrilling biking trails and discover the joys of cycling through the picturesque landscapes. Embark on cultural escapades by visiting nearby historical sites and landmarks, immersing yourself in the rich heritage of the area, such as Southwell Minster or the National Trust Workhouse.
