The fully equipped kitchen includes modern amenities such as a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. It's well-suited for preparing your favorite dishes or trying your hand at Luxembourgish recipes.

The bedroom offers a comfortable retreat with a cozy bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Quality linens and tasteful decor enhance the ambiance of the room. The apartment also features a clean and well-lit bathroom for your convenience.

This picturesque area, known as Grund, is nestled at the base of dramatic cliffs and overlooks the Alzette River. Here, you'll find a blend of old-world charm and modern conveniences. Despite its historic charm, Montee du Grund is well-connected to the city's modern amenities. You're just a short walk away from grocery stores, shops, and public transportation, making it convenient for daily living. The neighborhood's central location means you can easily explore the rest of Luxembourg. Public transportation options are readily available, including buses and trams, allowing you to access other parts of the city with ease.

Exploring Luxembourg is effortless from this central location. You'll find excellent access to public transportation, including buses and trams, allowing you to navigate the city with ease. Luxembourg's major landmarks, business districts, and cultural attractions are within a short commute.

We’re excited to have you staying with us and want to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Our apartment is thoughtfully equipped for your stay—Smart TV, bed linens, and bath towels are all provided at no extra cost. We also welcome long-term stays, making it an ideal home base for remote workers and business travelers. To help maintain a safe, respectful, and pleasant environment for all guests and neighbors, please take a moment to review and follow the house guidelines below:

1. ID Requirement: Please provide a government-issued ID for all guests above 18 during the online check-in process.

2. Check-In/Check-Out: Please adhere to the designated check-in and check-out times. To ensure a smooth experience, check-in is from 3 PM onward, and check-out is by 10 AM. Early check-in and late check-out are not available.

3. Guest Limit: Only those listed in your reservation are permitted on the premises of the property. No visitors or unregistered individuals should have access to the property.

4. Residential Use Only: The property is intended for private residential use by registered guests only. If your stay involves additional guests beyond your reservation, we cannot be responsible for privacy concerns.

5. Respect the Neighbours: Please be mindful of noise, especially during quiet hours (10:00 PM to 8:00 AM). Parties, events, illegal activities, and excessive noise are strictly prohibited. Loud music after 10 PM is not allowed.

6. No Smoking: Please use designated smoking areas. Smoking tobacco or any recreational drugs inside the building is strictly forbidden. A €500 penalty will apply for non-compliance.

7. Furniture and Structures: Refrain from moving furniture or setting up tents or other structures. A €300 cleaning fee will apply for any stains or any items that are taken or damaged.

8. Departure: When leaving, please turn off all lights and heating, place your key badge in the designated lockbox, clean the kitchen, and dispose of any leftover items to avoid a €200 cleaning fee.

9. Liability: Please note that we are not liable for issues managed by third-party entities.

10. Damages and Cleaning: Guests are responsible for any damages or additional cleaning incurred during their stay.

11. Support Liability: As a self-check-in property without a reception, we will not assume liability for check-in problems if guests are uncooperative with troubleshooting. In-person assistance is unavailable from 5 PM to 9 AM, including weekends and holidays.

12. On-Site Visits: We offer 24/7 remote support for any issues that may arise. On-site visits are subject to availability during weekday hours (9 AM to 5 PM) after internal decision. If a guest requests an on-site visit after remote troubleshooting and no issue is found, the guest will be liable for all associated costs.

13. Compliance: It’s essential to comply with all house guidelines. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your stay without a refund.

Interaction with Guests:
This is a self-check-in property. You can use the lockbox to collect your keys. You can expect to receive the code shortly before your arrival. You’ll have complete privacy during your stay, but if you need anything at all, just send us a message—we’re always here to help!

Grund District

Fantastic apartment and location. The listing said 60 sq ft. So I was skeptical. I think they meant 600. Owner was extremely nice and helpful. Highly recommend.

Funky Apartment in the Grund, Lux

Great and very different place! Built in to the rock of the cliff behind the apartment created a really interesting interior. Location in historic Lux was handy to 2 excellent local pubs and via a convenient elevator, the downtown shopping district. Hosts always available and accommodating on the phone for assistance when needed.

We Love Luxembourg

This is a wonderful property with the ideal location for us. We loved the UPDOWN, the neighborhood and the friendly and helpful neighbors. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the WIFI because of the flooding so we were unable to connect the first day making it difficult to figure out some important specifics. We would suggest some written notes in case this were to happen again. It was a frustrating time trying to connect and no one knew it was because of the flooding until after fact. Written notes would have solved the problem. There is a great kitchen but it's not obvious that there are some needed supplies- under the sink- . As we love to visit the local markets and cook when we are staying in a VRBO we found that we were in need of a couple of things- ie a measuring cup, a small fry pan and more dishtowels. Other VRBO's that we have stayed in have provided a couple of days supply of dish soap, a small amount of sugar, little things like that make it much easier for the guests and very much appreciated. If I were to have paid for longer I would have expected two more towels for the bath. Comfortable bed, nice linens. We have stayed in places all over Europe and found this to be right up there with the best. Hope to return in December. We love Luxembourg.

I loved this property but only gave it a 4 to warn people about the tight circular stairs to the bedroom and bathroom which were only shared at checkin. In you can’t climb stairs not a good location for you. Also they are so tight I could not get my luggage up had to hand carry everything up the stairs. Also know you are staying down in the valley of Luxembourg City ie the Grund. Which is cool but the main city is quite an uphill walk. Though there are some elevators. Again cool place but not optimal for people who have limited mobility.

Quaint apartment

There were some inaccuracies with the videos for getting the key and opening the correct door, stove top video, the upstairs bathroom sink linked so we did use it - needing to use the downstairs sink to brush teeth, trash not emotied
