Cabaña Tree Top en el río Shenandoah

Tree Top es un alquiler vacacional completamente nuevo que se inauguró en agosto de 2017. Está cerca de nuestras cabañas Fish Trap y Green Castle y, como ellos, también está frente al río, sentado en lo alto sobre el río con un área para caminar hasta la orilla del río. Es parte de una ubicación de "trampa para peces" de 18 acres que fue utilizada por los antiguos indios americanos hace cientos de años.

Tree Top es una hermosa propiedad grande con un hermoso exterior e interior modernos. Pisos de madera, electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, televisores de pantalla plana: todo es nuevo, lujoso y espera su disfrute personal. Las imágenes capturan parte de la belleza, el diseño moderno, la naturaleza y los espacios abiertos. ¡Echa un vistazo a esos y bebe todo!

Algo de lo que estamos muy orgullosos: Tree Top fue construido pensando en las personas con discapacidad. Desde el pórtico delantero hasta las puertas más anchas y las duchas / lavabos de entrada baja, hicimos nuestro mejor esfuerzo para acomodar sillas de ruedas. Es posible que la casa no sea perfecta para todas las personas discapacitadas, pregúntenos si no está seguro, pero se consideró con mucha anticipación y se incorporó al diseño.

En términos de tamaño, Tree Top puede adaptarse a grupos más grandes de 10 pero también funcionaría para una pareja o una familia pequeña. Hay tres (3) dormitorios y dos (2) baños completos. El tercer dormitorio es el área de loft grande que ves en las imágenes de la sala de estar. Hay una reina y dos camas individuales en esa zona de loft. Los dos dormitorios principales tienen camas queen.

Exactly as advertised. Everything was smooth and easy with check in, check out, etc. Nice property right on the riverfront with great views and amenities. Stayed with wife, daughter, and dog and had a great time.

As Good As It Looks...

Tree Top Cabin was very clean and included all the little things that made it homey...games, movies, puzzles, all the extra cleaning supplies, washer/dryer, etc. We were a family of five and we were all pleased with the cabin and the surrounding property.

Amazing views and relaxing setting

Tree Top was an amazing place to stay. It's very easy to access from the driveway as it's just one step up into the main floor and kitchen. Unloading your vehicle is a breeze. The kitchen has all the essentials you need. The river view from the back deck is beautiful and the sound of the river is very relaxing. We brought two dogs, one is a very senior lab mix with limited ability to walk. The owners helped me ahead of time in communicating there is a river pathway to avoid the long set of stairs down to the river. I was able to use a cart to help carry my dog down the path and let him enjoy some time in the water. The river pathway is just back up the main driveway as you come towards Tree Top. The use of the provided canoes and accessories was great and meant we didn't have to bring any of that gear. The river was a bit challenging to navigate due to a lot of recent rain and strong current but it was doable. The trick is to make it to the opposite bank away from the home. There is a small island and it creates a shallow, slow section you can use to help go up-river. From there, you can paddle up stream in a slower section, make your way back to the home side of the river, and then paddle back down river to exit. I would definitely come back and also try some of the other rental homes at this location. The process, communication, and overall stay was fantastic. Thank you for a great get-away!

Riverside Cabin

Our family enjoyed our long weekend in this cabin. The location was great -- quiet and peaceful, but not too far from town and the entrance to the park. The fire pit, hot tub, and river access made this a great base for our family. We loved that our dogs were able to enjoy this cabin with us:)

Great get away

We loved this beautiful cabin and the location! Great views and perfect access to the river. The cabin was clean and comfortable and we loved the hot tub. Only downside was all the bugs, but that's to be expected when so close to the water. Thank you for a wonderful vacation. We'd love to come back again soon! :)

Lovely view - great for family and dog

We enjoyed the lovely view and use of the canoes. Although we didn’t catch any fish, it was fun to see the waterfowl and turtles. The cabin was clean and welcoming. The hot tub was warm and clean. We appreciated the plentiful towels and full sized washer/dryer. As others noted, it’s a good idea to bring a flashlight to navigate from the house to the firepit/hot tub at night. Also remember to bring soap/shower wash. Luray has plenty of restaurants and stores and is only about 15 minutes away. This cabin is part of a collection of 7 other houses. The other rentals are visible to each other but Tree Top is at the end and private on one side with a great view and easy river access. If i was choosing again- this is the one I’d pick. We traveled in mid-March and had the area to ourselves for most of the week. Our dog loved it here too, the decked railing kept her safe to enjoy the sunshine with us. WiFi is provided by Star-link . It was good for work, acceptable for video calls, but did not support 4k streaming.

Nice modern cabin on the river

The cabin overall was beautiful. The location was nice right on the river and easy to get to. Very nice modern home with good amenities. Only downsides we found was the beds were awfully small (definitely not queen mattresses), the hot tub was kinda dirty, and neighbors were right on top of us we felt. But none of this prevented us from having an excellent weekend there. Still recommend the place.

Relaxing Weekend

We had a great weekend at Tree Top. The house was the perfect size for kid group of 6. We enjoyed the canoes and fishing off the dock. The house was well equipped and clean. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

Our Happy Place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tree Top. We continue to come back year after year! As always, the house was clean and everything in great working order! We enjoyed beautiful days kayaking on the river and evenings out at the firepit and in the hot tub. Meal times were a breeze with everything needed in the kitchen. We will be back soon!

Wonderful family getaway

We had a wonderful two night stay at Tree Top. We thoroughly enjoyed the location- set above the Shenandoah River with a great deck to view from. We saw birds ranging from Bald Eagles to hummingbirds and enjoyed listening to them. The fire pit, hot tub, and canoes were great fun. Cabin itself was clean, large windows to enjoy nature setting (even with a day of rain!) rooms were spacious and kitchen well stocked. We will definitely return!

Beautiful weekend getaway

Booked tree top cabin as a surprise 40th for my boyfriend with some friends and was a wonderful escape for the weekend! Beautiful scenic views overlooking the Shenandoah river and loved the river access for fishing. Very roomy and well kept with great views from the main area and bedrooms. Deck could use some fresh paint, and at the time of our stay the dishwasher wasn’t working— wish the owners would have let us know ahead of time so I could’ve brought plasticware/paper goods but besides that everything else was perfect!

Beautiful quiet retreat

We had a wonderful couple of days at this cabin. Beautifully decorated and well stocked. I loved the wall to wall windows overlooking the river and mountains from every room. The fire pit, hot tub and screened in porch were located around the back of the house and very nicely arranged. A long staircase descends to the river below where you can find the canoes. Pretty private location with a neighbor to the left and woods to the right. Great place if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing place to get away from it all but just a short drive to downtown Luray and the caverns. We brought our dog which is a bonus and the cabin is so clean you would never know they host families with dogs.
