This condo was a perfect fit for our family of 3 and had everything we needed for our stay in Maui. Excellent unit with all the amenities, Beautiful grounds, nice pool and a great view from balcony. also Free parking. Wish we could stay longer! Must eat at Nalu’s grill down the street while you’re here!

Fantastic Stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I had a great experience staying at Maui Sunset. The check in process was smooth and the lady at the check in counter was warm and friendly as well as the property manager. Parking was free. The location was unbeatable near many restaurants, shopping and beach parks. Since the property has its own beach front, the sunset view was amazing. Seeing the turtles in the water by the property’s beach was incredible. The unit was very clean and had everything you will need to make your stay feel like you’re home. The AC in the bedroom and living room as well as having a washer and dryer inside the unit was a major plus!! This will be our go-to lodging whenever we visit Maui.

Great place to stay and amazing view.

Our stay was great. The kids enjoyed the beach and the condo had everything we needed for beach and the stay. At one point we couldn't get into the condo because of the locks, but was able to call the friendly management group and got the assistance we needed.

Summer Fun at Maui Sunset

We have rented several condos at this property and found this one to be the nicest, and well-equipped for our stay. Glad we chose this unit for our trip!

Great Spot for a Family of 5

While the exterior of this property is dated, the interior was just as advertised. The space was clean and well-appointed including beach chairs, a cooler and snorkeling gear. The condo pool was wonderful and had a great view of the ocean. We also really enjoyed the view from the lanai. We would definitely visit again!

Great Vacation

We had a great time in Maui and loved where we stayed at Sunset Maui. The condo was clean and welcoming. I loved that they had towels and chairs available to take to the beach as well as water gear. The location was great for what we wanted to do and we met several people around the pool. It was a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Great stay at Maui Sunset! The property is very well manicured and the unit is steps away from the pool and beach! Amazing sunsets each night could be seen from our lanai! The place is perfect for a couple or small family. We especially enjoyed the access to beach chairs, coolers, and beach towels.The only minor issue we had was a lack of hot water in the primary shower. It probably just needs the cartridge replaced. With a second full bathroom available, this wasn’t a problem. I’d definitely recommend Maui Sunset to others and would return when back in Maui

The room was well stocked with beach chairs, towels and an umbrella. There were some toiletries as well. It was overall comfortable but the room had a smell which lingered, and some of the bath towels were stained. The kitchen drawers were sticky with old food.

Hope to come back to this place!

The condo was awesome. We enjoyed the sunrise every morning and the short walk to the beach was nice. We loved all the extra's in the closet for our use. The Snorkeling equipment, boogie board,s lawn chairs etc etc were great.Every time we looked in the closet we found more things for us to use. It was quiet, nice and relaxing and not crowed at all. Thanks so much. I can't imagine finding anything nicer for the price!!!

First time to vrbo

This place was our first vrbo and they made it very easy and stress free. They provided detailed instructions and assistance. Check in process was a breeze. The security there was very friendly and helped us locate the entrance to our building and also gave us pointers about the area. We love the location. It is close to a lot of good places whether driving or walking. The place was how it was described. It was clean and spacious. We did not cook when we stayed but there are available pots and pans for cooking. We loved that there are 2 bathrooms for our family of five. Easy check out process as well.

We enjoyed our stay at the Maui Sunset. Overall, the unit is as described. We enjoyed having 2 full bathrooms, a well-equipped full kitchen, and access to the pool. We appreciated the pool was heated so we could swim in the evening. Our family of 4 fit very comfortably with the Murphy bed, pull-out couch, and bed room. My only complaint is the pull out couch was very noisy and any slight movement made a lot of noise. The location in Kīhei was good. It's easy to access all areas of the island easily, and also close to many dining areas and grocery stores. The property manager was kind to share with us how easily we could view sea turtles at sunset a few minute walk away.The only issue we had this trip was the elevator outside our unit was broken during our stay. We had to use the elevator at the front of the building or 5 flight of stairs. While not generally an issue once we figured it out, getting there without knowing this and all our luggage was challenging. Check-in with the front desk is also challenging with the limited hours offered as we came in.
