The Host was outstanding. Very helpful. The amenities were nice, however, somewhat inaccessible. The fireplace and the pool were not available to us without additional fees.

Vacation 6 Terra Bella Trace

Family vacation was excellent. The trip was our second year at Terra Bella. The house was perfect for our family, beach was great and other outside needs were close by. The management staff was great, responding to our needs very quickly, highly recommend this location.

Family vacation

Very nice house, close to the beach, it would have been nice to have instructions on how to work the Tv, it took us a while to figure it out. We really enjoyed our stay though.

Great Family Vacation

We loved our stay at 6 Bella Terra Trace! Our group was 6 adults and 6 kids (3 families). The set up of the house was perfect and the house was very well equipped and was even stocked with beach chairs and beach/pool toys. There was plenty of space and everyone felt like they had their privacy. The location was great. We spent our days mostly going back and forth from the pool to the beach, but we did venture out and explore the island as well. We were even lucky to see the sea turtles entering the water. The property manager was very prompt in responding to our messages. Only complaint was that the floors could have been cleaned better upon arrival.

Perfect House for Large Group

We needed a place for our kids and grandkids to enjoy the beach with us! We needed room for ourselves, our five grown children (and spouses) and nine grandchildren (age range 24 yrs - 8 months) to all stay together under one roof. 6 Terra Bella Trace was great! Everyone could rest and relax or join in all the shenanigans without disturbing those who needed to rest. The rooftop area was the perfect setting for our 8 month old granddaughters baby dedication. The elevator came in handy for the great-grandmother to attend as well. The kitchen is spacious and easy to prepare food for a large group. We were creative with our parking so that we only had to park 2 cars off site. (I would say this is the only negative part of this rental.)

Spectacular!

Beautiful beyond words! The private boardwalk was my favorite feature of the house. No sandy feet or hot sand until we got to the beach…. A great advantage when tugging little ones along. The bathrooms were all gorgeous with huge showers and sparkling countertops. The bedrooms were large with comfortable mattresses. Having two laundry rooms was a nice surprise. The kitchen was large for our group of nine adults and nine children. The elevator was very helpful on arrival. The winding staircase was very safe for the children. The bunk room was large and fun for the little ones. We enjoyed a couple of evenings on the rooftop which had an expansive view of the ocean. I liked that there was a life guard on duty down from us due to a couple of days of rip tides. The beach area was the perfect amount of sand and water. There was great thought and care given to the design of the house. The details and decorations were exquisite, and quality craftsmanship was evident throughout the home. The garage was immaculate and the trash cans were hidden behind a door in an enclosed closet. There were extra pool toys and beach chairs at our disposal in the garage closet. Everything was convenient- Harris teeter, food lion, and Whole Foods were close by. This was our favorite house of all times!!

AIR-Cond. was not working on 3rd floor first 2 days, was tough but was repaired and we had a great time. The location was perfect and the house had plenty of room for my family. We go to the beach every year and this has been voted by family as the best. They loved the house, the pool and being so near the beach. We are looking at dates for next year.

Excellent

We had a great time. The kitchen had everything we could imagine using. Some of the reviews said it didn't but clearly the owners went through and thought of everything. It was spacious and well appointed!! Plenty of towels and toilet paper. We had bought our own from past experiences in other rentals. The outdoor shower didn't work but the bottom faucet did, so not a problem. It was one of our best family vacations! Thank you!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week staying at 6 Terra Bella Trace. The home is beautifully decorated, and was comfortable for everyone in our group ranging in ages 14 through 85. The elevator was a nice feature for grandma to use to get to each floor. We heated the pool, and it was enjoyed by all. The property sits right on the beach with a walkway leading directly to the sand. The beach was perfect for daily walks or bike riding. We took advantage of the discounted bike rentals from Xplorie, we also used the free rounds of golf/mini golf for the kids and the adults. Vacation Homes of Hilton Head was easy to work with...I interacted with Andi and she was so helpful! She even sent us suggestions for restaurants and things to do around the island. Our Thanksgiving was so much fun at 6 Terra Bella Trace. If you are considering this home to rent, don’t hesitate...it is beautiful. Our family was sad to leave. Thank you Vacation Homes of Hilton Head for giving our family such a wonderful experience!

Perfect Vacation

Great House; Location is perfect, walk to beach is short, house is clean and decorated well, all 6 rooms have King size beds and are very comfortable. There were 13 in our family and it was a home run. Definitely will stay there again. (Only one issue that could use some attention, the main sliding door out to the pool and main deck is really hard to open, kids or some of the women in our family couldn't open it without the help from others)

Amazing Stay!!

My family and I stayed for a week vacation and everything was absolutely amazing! The property was very clean, well stocked, and in a great location. Access to the beach was front in front of the house and there was a place to rinse off before getting into the pool or going back into the house. We loved that all the rooms had king beds and large bathrooms. We would highly recommend this property for anyone staying in the area!

Location, location, location

The house was as advertised and housed our 18 people with 3 families and 3 generations. The location being on the beach made it worth the price. The sliding door was hard for the grandparents to get in and out. The bunk room on the second floor not having a door made for some tired children. We had a great time!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First time we rented in this area of the island. Loved the house however there are things you should be aware of in the house. The WIFI was awful until one of your staff brought us an Orbi to enhance the signal. The patio door was very hard to open, I'm 73 years old and didn't have the strength your staff told us that has been a problem unable to fix, We as a family cook alot as we enjoy that time together and your kitchen wasn't stocked well We had to wash wine glasses everyday as there were not enough there was no 9 x 13 pan to bake our italian dishes in so we bought one This is not a review just constructive things that I hope you change in the future. We enjoyed our stay. We were not told the garage code so I had to call to learn that.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful house and super clean. Our group of 12 had a wonderful time. Most things are in very good repair and high quality. The biggest issue was the slider to the pool and beach. It’s track was broke and literally at times it was nearly impossible to open. The kids couldn’t at all and many of the rest of us had difficulty. Disappointed that despite two calls and an email we hear nothing from the company. In addition despite prior assurances there was significant construction next door and frequent and extensive blocking of this houses drive and garage. Management needs to be more responsive and transparent.

Amazing Family Vacation Rental

The house is absolutely stunning ! The location could not have been better! Easy access to the beach and lots of local activities within 15 minutes from the house. We were a large group with ages ranging from 9 months to 70 years old and everyone truly had a wonderful time. The property management team was responsive & helpful for some very minor issues. My only complaint would be the issue with parking and access to the property as result of the construction crews parking on the bridge. We did travel with a large truck and suv which were difficult to maneuver on such a narrow bridge with trucks parked along the side. A construction worker also did knock on the door at 7 am one day to assist in moving our vehicle to accommodate their trailers which I did find inappropriate given the time of day. Having said that, it was still a beautiful house, stunning views and exactly as depicted in the listing. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It is with great sadness that I leave this review. This house is beautiful and in a perfect location. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by unethical and deceitful business practices on the part of the owner and VHHHI. We booked this house in October 2021 for multigenerational trip to celebrate my in-laws' 50th wedding anniversary. Construction on a new house literally 5 feet away started in December 2021. We were not told about the construction until 24 HOURS BEFORE OUR ARRIVAL DATE in April, tying our hands for cancelling and finding a new property. There is scaffolding attached to this property. EVERY SINGLE BEDROOM WINDOW NOW LOOKS OUT TO SCAFFOLDING, THE SIDE OF THE NEW HOUSE, AND CONSTRUCTION WORKERS instead of the marsh and beach views promised. There was a construction worker literally sitting in front of the dining room window, watching us eat our meals. We had to ask for temporary blinds. We had to listen to construction every day of our trip, and fight with construction trucks and cranes for entry and exit to the home. It felt unsafe to have children and elderly family members outside. As compensation, we were offered free pool heat and a round of mini golf. For a $20,000/wk property, insulting is an understatement. This may have been our last opportunity for a family vacation due to aging grandparents. We are angry! The owners and property managers would have never done this to their own families, but they had no qualms about deceiving their customers. From a recent VRBO review, it looks like they did the same thing to another customer in March. Don't be fooled by the pictures online. Now instead of marsh and beach views from the windows, you will be staring at the side of a house that is literally 3 feet away. The deceitful and unethical way that they are treating customers is shameful. They had 4 months to tell us about the construction, but instead waited until THE DAY BEFORE OUR ARRIVAL. Totally unprofessional.

Looking for peace and quiet....look elsewhere

Exterior photos online misrepresent the property on the south border. Photos show open land. In fact there's a new house under construction within an arms length. Staying in a construction site with constant construction noise and disruption was not part of our acation plan. If construction had been disclosed or honestly shown in the exterior photos, we would NOT have stayed here. Parking battles with construction crews also was a daily problem. Ownership offered NO concessions and refused to even acknowledge their misrepresentation. There are lots of better options. Pick one of them.
