Villa Madi was fabulous. Immaculate. Beautiful landscaping. Lots of space. Wonderful place for kids as lorella designed a great playroom. Lorella had a nicely stocked kitchen with some wine and snacks. She had a helpful and comprehensive “house” book k with restaurants, grocery, sightseeing etc. Lorella went out of her way to help us with an issue we had. Really, she went above and beyond

What a fantastic villa. Well equipped kitchen, living spaces inside and out and a variety of socialising spaces.The pool area is a beautiful sun trap which gets sun all through the day making pool days perfect for the children. Addes bonus of pool toys for all ages.Lorella was an excellent host providing all the essentials at check in :) Would love to stay here again.

Perfetta!

Our stay in Lorella’s house was just perfect. Beautiful villa with a fabulous pool, welcome drinks and snacks were fully stocked and all the usual condiments for cooking were high quality and plentiful. We received a very warm welcome from Lorella and her family, they were fabulous hosts. We feel we arrived as guests but left as friends.Location was perfect for our trips to Florence, Lucca and Pisa, very close to the A11 autostrade, a great supermarket within 5 minutes by car and the local coffee shop was brilliant for yummy breakfast pastries and coffee.Highly recommended. If only we could award more than 5 stars!

We visited in May 2026 as a party of 6 including 2 kids and 2 grand parents. We were greeted by Lorella and her grandaughter who were so friendly and really welcomed us. They took us through everything in the villa and were very helpful in explaining all the information. The villa itself is huge! Air conditioning is great, worked well and was in all of the rooms. The kitchen had everything we needed (and more) to be able to cook. There were lots of different glasses and crockery we could use, more than any other villa I have been in. The outside space at the villa was fantastic and made such a difference. The pool was a good size and kept the kids entertained every day. I did have reservations about a salt water pool but it was lovely. Lorella gave us lots of pool floats we could use which the kids loved.There is also plenty of driveway space where the kids played basketball and we could easily park our large hire car.We used the outside dining table every night and morning. The fact it is covered was very useful when it rained towards the end of the holiday.The location is excellent. Just a short walk in Porcari, a 5 min drive from a good supermarket, a short distance to the toll roads for longer trips and only 25mins drive from Lucca.Overall the villa and location were amazing but what really made the holiday was the hospitality of Lorella and everything she helped us with. We would definitely recommend and come back for another holiday.

Het is een fantastisch vakantiehuis. Ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien en volledig voorzien van airconditioning. Lorella is super en probeert er alles aan te doen om je verblijf aangenaam te maken. Elke ochtend 150 meter lopen naar de lokale bakker voor een heerlijke versie koffie/cappuccino met vers croissantje. Het zwembad is heel fijn en groot. Porcari is een prima locatie om Toscane te ontdekken.

Wunderschönes Haus in einer ruhigen Gegend mit eigenem Pool und geschützter, eingezäunter Umgebung. Die Eigentümerin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ideale Lage für Tagesausflüge, grosses Einkaufszentrum in der Nähe. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Had an absolutely amazing week at the villa which made for a perfect holiday with a combination of day trips to Florence, Lucca and Pisa and days spent relaxing by the lovely pool. Although the gorgeous garden with roses and the scent of lavender and jasmine made it really hard to leave! Lorella and her family gave us such a warm welcome, and showed us around the house which was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need, including lovely drinks and snacks that they provided. This included beautiful pasticceria from one of the excellent bakeries nearby which turned out to be a great place to get fresh pastries in the mornings! We chose not to drive while there and arranged a transfer to and from Pisa airport (about 35 mins drive), although I suspect most people do have a car. We travelled for days out by train - the nearest train station (Porcari) is about 20-25 mins walk away and close to a small supermarket (INS) which is about 15-20 mins walk and has all the essentials. The trains are not always very frequent but were easy to use with the Trenitalia app, and tickets were quite reasonably priced. Porcari itself has a few cafes, lovely pizza restaurants and gelaterias which we enjoyed exploring. There are also live music festivals and street food stalls in the local square during some of the June weeks which were fun to visit. Overall, I highly recommend Villa Madi - a lovely family holiday location!

Unser Traumhaus

Wir haben unseren achttägigen Aufenthalt in der wunderschönen Villa absolut genossen. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und wir wurden umfassend informiert. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit viel Liebe zum Detail und sehr geräumig. Die Gartenanlage mit dem schönen Pool ist traumhaft, war sehr gepflegt und das Haus makellos sauber. Die Ausstattung war perfekt und unsere Vermieterin hatte sogar noch den Kühlschrank gefüllt! Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt! Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in unmittelbarer Nähe und nach Lucca ist es ein Katzensprung. Wir kommen gerne wieder!.
