Casa de Cuaña - Private Pool, Padel Tennis, Basketball & more - close to Girona

It is hard to believe, that a lovely house as Casa de Cuaña is situated just 7 km. from Girona, which is the second largest city in Catalonia. Casa de Cuaña, which is a holiday home for 12 guest, is situated in a hilly area, surrounded by mountain and forrest with the Vally Bescanó in the background.

Here the guests are welcomed by two huge Cypress near the entrance of the house. Long time ago, this was a signal to strangers that the house offered a meal and a beed to sleep in (only one meant that you were welcome to get served a meal). The front terrace area is large and at the side of the house is spacious covered BBQ area, with outdoor kitchen and a lovely view over the Valley.

The garden has a lovely fenced pool area with plenty of loungers and here is also an area for playing football or basketball. At a little house in the back is set up a table tennis and a little seating area. The entire outdoor area is huge and the view here is stunning and from here you are really able to enjoy the silence and the stunning nature.

The house itself is fully renovated, which has been done with great respect for the house, which dates back from the early 18th century. The house has 6 roomy and nicely decorated bedrooms. There are 3 rooms with double beds and 3 rooms with single beds. There are 3 modern bathrooms and a traditional Spanish kitchen with all modern amenities. Next to the kitchen you will find the beautiful diningroom and next to the lounge area is another smaller dining area. The lounge area has satellite TV and fireplace (for the winther).

All together Casa de Cuaña stands out as a really unique holiday home as everything just is as it ideally ought to be. You are close to a village and splendid city, the house is situated in stunning surrounding, the property has a high level of privacy and the renovation has been done beautifully and with respect, so it still stands out as a unique traditional rustic Catalan country home and then everything inside is simply lovely.

For the last 14 years we have engaged in letting out fantastic Catalan holiday homes, all of which live up to our criterias: they are authentic, charming homes and are all of a very high standard.
