Welcome to my new apartment! My completely renovated and bright 3 bedrooms / 2 bathroom flat, located at the heart of Paris city center, perfect for those traveling with children or friends. The neighborhood is safe and family-friendly with plenty to do on your doorstep. The apartment is located in the 5th district, called as well Latin quarter, the heart of the French capital!



Spacious and central, this apartment will be the ideal holiday resort for your family holidays in Paris.



The Space:

Welcome home! My apartment is right by the emblematic centre of Paris, an ideal spot for art and culture lovers, containing some of the most emblematic monuments and museums of the city.



This 95 m2 duplex apartment is divided into two individual units that can be separated from each other, ideal for groups of friends and families that want to stay together but enjoy some privacy. Each features a bright and comfy living room open to a small but well-supplied kitchen.



Completely renovated by an interior designer, the apartment fits up to 8 guests and is divided into two units as follows:



Unit A (right):

- Dinning area and open kitchen

- Living room: double sofa bed

- Bedroom 1: 1 Double bed

- Full bathroom



Unit B (left):

- Bedroom + full bathroom

- Living room area and kitchen + bedroom (double sofa bed)



The units have a surface of 40m2 + 45m2; a total of 85m2. The units can only be rented together, they can not be rented individually.



Some special features:



- The apartment is accessed via a very nice and quiet street

- Step free access! The unit is accessed directly from the street and there are no stairs (besides the ones that lead to the lower floor level)

- Two apartments in one! Ideal for privacy and for big groups

- Living room area with an open layout to a well equipped kitchen in both units

- Washer / Dryer available inside the apartment

- 2 full bathrooms, one on each side of the apartment.

- Fresh linens and bath towels will be provided.

- Paid parking off premises - walking distance from the apartment.

- Baby crib and high chair available under request and availability, kindly send us a message in order to confirm please

- My property will be professionally cleaned before your stay

The Neighborhood:

This apartment, very central, is located in the heart of historical Paris: the Latin Quarter, with its well-known universities, such as the Sorbonne as well as its mythical cafes..



History is present on all the streets: there are Les Arènes, Les Thermes de Cluny, the Collège de France, the Grand Mosque de Paris, the Museum of Natural History, the Panthéon with Voltaire and Marie Curie, Rue Mouffetard, Place Saint Michel,...

The apartment is located in front of the Jardin des Plantes with magnificent views, and close as well from Jardin du Luxembourg.



Getting Around:

The location of the apartment will allow you to move quickly and easily across the capital via many possibilities for public transportation:



- Metro: Saint Marcel (Line 5)

- Metro & train station: Gare d'Austerlitz (Line 5 & 10, RER and Intercity)

- BUS, Day & night

- Several Taxi companies available: Taxis G7 (most used): call 36 07.



Other Things to Note:

*** TOURIST TAX & HOME ADDRESS ***



- The Paris administration charges a small fee to every guest staying in a tourism accommodation. The introduction of a tourist tax makes it possible to avoid having to bear the costs linked to tourist activity in the area solely on the local taxpayer. Thus, revenue from the tourist tax is entirely allocated to the development of tourism infrastructure and the promotion of the territory. The promotion of Parisian tourism is therefore directly financed by the tourist tax, paid by tourists, and not by local tax.



- This contribution is mandatory for all adult guests and is calculated based on a percentage basis according to the number of nights and night rates of your reservation. The maximum amount per person / per night is 15.93 EUR. You can check all the information at Taxe de séjour PARIS.



- National and International police demand that each guest, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.



- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs

Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)



*** HOUSE RULES ***



1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of possible eviction and a deposit seizure up to 600€.

2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.

3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).

4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.

5. No smoking on interior areas.

6. If the garbage bin is full, please take it outside and find the closest dumpster.

7. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.

8. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.



Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

Communication was great. Property was beautiful and well maintained. The location was great too. Only downside was that the bathroom especially the shower was too small and congested. The hot water system in the bathroom sink was way too hot and it was too difficult to adjust.

Exploring Paris

The apartment was in a good location and was ideal for exploring Paris. Metro station, shopping and restaurants were in the immediate vicinity.

Not quite as advertised

This property is in a neighborhood that is very close to metro and bus stops. About a 10 minute walk to Mouffetard area which is a cute market area. Check in was easy enough and the owner is prompt in responses. However, it wasn't quite as advertised. It says it sleeps 10, but there are no private rooms. Our group of 6 was 2 married couples and two children, so some actual privacy would have been nice. In addition there is very little shelf space or "prep" space for makeup and getting dressed. The kitchens arent really functional or stocked with cooking supplies, though that didn't bother us but may matter to some. not one single truly private room with a door
