Welcome to Apartments Kalma, a heavenly retreat designed exclusively for couples or solo travelers looking for a tranquil escape. Located in Ulica Anice Bošković, the heart of the delightful, historic city of Dubrovnik in Croatia, this studio apartment offers an exceptional getaway experience. It is only a short walk away from the Old Town. Bedroom feathers one double bed. There is a kitchen providing everything needed for meal preparation, sitting corner and private bathroom. Guests also have access to the terrace/garden and apartment has sea view.
Place is located just 10 minutes away from Pile Gate - main entrance to the Old Town andin this area you can find stores, bars as well as a bus station 5 minute walk away. The Old town of Dubrovnik is the most known and desirable destination in Dubrovnik. In the past, Old City became an important force in the whole Mediterranean after the 13th century. Although significantly destroyed by the earthquake of 1667, Dubrovnik managed to keep and preserve its Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque churches, monasteries, palaces, and fountains.Today inside the Walls you have almost everything that you might need: cultural sights, cinemas, galleries theaters, lots of cafes, and restaurants. During the day it is pretty much crowded with tourists and domestic people, and music from bars and restaurants during the night is not the first option for those who are seeking peace and a quiet place to stay. Despite that Old Town of Dubrovnik offers liveliness and charm that you cannot find in other parts of Dubrovnik. Stradun, the main street in Old City is only 300 m long but offers the most famous sights as you walk along the way. Onofrio's Fountain, the Franciscan Monastery, the Sponza Palace, Orlando's Column, the Rector's Palace, the Dubrovnik Cathedral and Treasury, the Church of St. Vlaho, Synagogue, Marin Držić House, Ethnographic Museum Rupe, Aquarium... The most impressive sight is well preserved, City Walls. Only 2 km long and 25 m high used to be protected in the past. The most important and well-preserved 5 fortresses give a unique shape to this Old town. Those are Fort of Minčeta, Revelin, Bokar, St. John, and outside Lovrjenac. Traffic is forbidden inside the Walls and parking is almost mission impossible in case you decide to stay as much as closer to the Old City...

Very handy location close to the old town but really quiet at night. Sea glimpses from the outdoor made ita perfect place for breakfast and evening drinks.

Excellent stay.
The Host was kind and replied fast to address our queries. Location (the view was very nice. The apartment was walking distance from the Old City and Bellevue beach. The convenience store and bus stop were also walking distance) Cleanliness. Coziness. Kitchen appliances and utensils were big help because we ate breakfast at the apartment.

Convenient - Beautiful - Scenic - Amenities - Value for Money
We really did like the location, it's in a quiet neighborhood so it's perfect to relax, the police station is close by, Minimarkets were also close-by.
The way to old town was beautiful! We are talking about a 10-15 min walk, by a single traditional pathway with beautiful views towards the sea and the old town, and lots of Trees that suited up the scenery perfectly!
The room was perfectly clean, had all the required tools & accessories to properly cook a meal like pasta, the fridge was operational - above standard - but the ice compartment was not perfect unfortunately, so keep that in mind.
There is a A/C that is worthy of keeping the room well conditioned, and a shared garden with the other apartment.
The garden was enjoyable to sit relax and enjoy our breakfast - as well as have a beer at the afternoon, the place offers a view to the sea and some beautiful tree lines.
We did stay only for 3 nights, but I believe that is the average time someone needs to explore the Old Town of Dubrovnik and swim on a couple of beaches.
The person responsible of handling the apartment was very cooperative, and replied within reasonable amount of time with helpful information! Overall our stay on the apartment was perfect, and we did enjoy Dubrovnik - at least by the scenic side of things! -.

Alojamiento agradable,tranquilo y acogedor
