Enchanting and luminous apartment in a farmhouse with swimming pool immersed in nature, in one of the most evocative valleys of the Madonie mountain range.



Baglio il Corvo is a horseshoe-shaped farmhouse from the 1700s within an agricultural estate just 3 km from Gangi. This structure is located on Corvo mountain, from which it takes its name, and enjoys a suggestive view over the valley and the beautiful town of Gangi. This is the ideal place for those who love nature, rural life and for a holiday escape from the chaos of the city, accompanied by the slow rhythms and sounds of country life. The farmhouse's strong points are the outdoor spaces: the enchanting garden, and the swimming pool with a view over the valley furnished with tables, chairs and sun loungers.



The Dependance, overlooking the Baglio, comprises a living area with a fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor and a living area on the upper floor furnished with a sofa. The sleeping area, located on the upper floor, includes a bedroom with a double bed. A bathroom with a bathtub completes the layout.

Perched on Monte Marone, 120 km from Palermo, lies the wonderful medieval village of Gangi. This small municipality is the protagonist of a stone scenography of houses adorned with flowers, wrought iron balconies, rich portals, eighteen churches, stately palaces and artistic treasures scattered throughout the typical alleyways. Gangi is one of 14 municipalities affected by the Madonie Regional Natural Park (Unesco Geopark), an area in the heart of Sicily suspended between sea and mountain and was elected the Most Beautiful Village in Italy in 2014. Gangi is a place rich in architectural and artistic heritage: the fourteenth-century walls enclose the upper part of the city, which preserves the most significant buildings such as the mother church and the Bongiorno-Li Destri palace. The Gangi menu boasts several dishes: unmissable are the caciocavallo of Gangi, a pecorino cheese of first or second salt aged with peppercorns, and dry sausage, but also the pasta "ccu maccu", roasted mutton with potatoes and the traditional "mastacuttè", biscuits made with flour, sugar and prickly pear juice.

Gangi is a strategic point for making historical, artistic and gastronomic excursions in the nearby towns of the Madonie, such as Castelbuono (32 km away) with its three museums and renowned restaurants, Cefalù (53 km away), taking nature walks or horse riding at Piano Battaglia (28 km away) or at Petralia Sottana where the Madonie Adventure Park is located (16 km away).



The airports in Catania and Palermo are both approximately 2 hours by car from the accommodation.
