Bute Yard has its own distillery and brewery and hosts a number of regular events including a street kitchen and live music. In the opposite direction from One Marine Place (1 mile) is the pretty village of Port Bannatyne with its community pub and bakery which you can enjoy, and watch the yachts bobbing in the water. There is a bus stop that can take you into town or to Port Bannatyne right outside the property.
